LONDON (Reuters) - Chemicals in cannabis have been found to stop prostate cancer cells from growing in the laboratory, suggesting that cannabis-based medicines could one day help fight the disease, scientists said Wednesday.

I've probably got enough THC in my system to stop cancer for three lifetimes. I smoked pretty heavily for about 26 years. I'm now looking into other ways of ingesting it outside of smoking, and without being stoned from taking it. I'm in a new phase of my life at this point, and I find being stoned all the time isn't as beneficial as it used to be.
There are definite positive aspects to ingesting THC, it's medical fact, and has been for a long time now. Not to mention the environmental benefits of growing and using hemp for it's many various applications.

Patrick Swayze has been using marijuana as he battles aggressive pancreatic cancer, it has been claimed.
According to the National Enquirer, the Dirty Dancing star, 56, has found that smoking pot helps ease his nausea, insomnia and anxiety.
“He’s recently gained a little weight and feels more normal than he has in months,” a source told the tabloid.
“Patrick was rapidly losing weight because he couldn’t keep food down.
“He was so weak, he needed help getting around.”
Friends persuaded Patrick to try marijuana, disclosed the insider, and it seems to have helped.

“Marijuana works extremely well” for many cancer patients, said Dr. Ron Kennedy, a physician in Santa Rosa, Calif., who provides medicinal marijuana. “It helps fight nausea from chemotherapy treatments and may alleviate anorexia or lack of appetite.”

I also eat lots of tomatoes, eat a lot of fruit and grains, take vitamins, and drink lots of water with lemon in it. I'm also not a smoker of tobacco, nor do I drink alcohol. Timothy Leary was a Crowleyite, CIA shill, and generally an irresponsible twit of a man.

You have to eat cannabinoid oil to get the anti-cancer action. I love how they say "one day..." It should be today and not only that, but the people who have kept it from us until now should have to pay.

From my research it's the CBN or so that makes you stoned, of which there is more in the commonly sold Cannabis Indica, than there is Cannabis Sativa, which is said to only have a head high and little body high. So THC itself is not the stoney.
I think vaporizers give a more head high than body stone but I'm not sure about this.
Anyways, Cannabis Indica is something that If I had my hands on it to smoke it regularily, I would generally NOT do before the sunset.

Most strains are a mix of sativa and indica, the crossbred descendants of the pure 'landrace' strains. You may find a 'pure' indica strain in some parts of the world and likewise with 'pure' sativa, but most herb grown in europe is a mix of the two. It is possible to find a herb with a balance of THC and CBN that suits your needs

imo, we better find out what causes cancer.

Big Pharma is spending zillions on lobbiests and this can oil not be patented. Pharma's way to TREAT cancer is, cut, burn and poison.
I had 2 surgeries 9 years ago and if smoking was an olympic event I am in with a chance of the gold.
