One time, at Charlotte International Airport in North Carolina, they made me go into this tiny cylindrical chamber about 1 meter wide. Now, this would be back in 2007, and there was some sort of misty gas at the bottom of the chamber. Does any one know what this device is? I was spooked by this device and swore never to book my flight travel to connect thru that airport, ever again. I certainly hope it wasn't some sort of secret castration/sterilization/radiation device, cuz I would be f*ckin pissed if it was.
