Connection between Monarchy and Illuminati?

David Icke says that Illuminati has been around for millennia and that it is the royal bloodlines from Babylon etc. that became the aristocracies of Europe. But why did the Bavarian Illuminati want to destroy the monarchy then?

Why did Rothschild deceive the english monarchy in 1815 stock exchange, battle of Waterloo? If the Windsor-bloodline is Illuminati at the very heart, and at the same time Rothschild is just as close to the heart, how can it be that Rothschild deceived them in 1815 when Windsor has been Illuminati for a long long long time prior to this?

I know I have misunderstood something, and that my lack of knowledge is causing this dilemma in my mind. I know Windsor and Rothschild are Illuminati.

There were many different branches of royalty all over Europe. They didn't want to usurp all of them. The Illuminati even had members of royalty and of the Church within their own group. Weishaupts somewhat socialist tendencies seem to be more propaganda than anything.

Alls it did was funnel more wealth into his (the illuminatis) hands and away from the public. The ploy allowed them to setup a new Bank of England controlled by the Rothschilds (Illuminati). I don't see any reason why the British Empire would've been opposed to this. Rothschild became rich in the first place through collaboration with the House of Hesse. If anything, the new central bank allowed the Empire to go from overt control to covert control, which we still see going on now. Even today, some researchers (such as Lyndon LaRouche) simply refer to the Illuminati as the British Empire.
