:eek:Has anyone heard of these so called mosquito devices?
These can be used by shops and business' to move on kids who are hanging around outside.
How do they work? Well.
They emit a high pitched whine(it sounds like a mozzy, hence the name) that is only audible to kids between about 12 and 19. The noise is so annoying that the teens eventually leave. They naturally don't discriminate between kids that ARE acting the maggot and kids who are just being kids( which is most of them). I heard all this on Irish radio station Newstalk 106. One shopkeeper rang in to tell listeners about how good the device he had on his premesis is.
This is nothing more then ageist discrimination against kids.
How long before they start to use these things on crowds of peaceful protesters?
And what, for that matter would a device like this do to brain waves? Could subl;iminal messages be included?
there's a piece on wikipedia about it.
http://en.wikipedia.en.wi.org/wiki/The.Mosquito

If that link doesn't work google should.
It says they can't be tuned to adult frequencies but I distintly remember an adult reporter having just this done to her on the piece I mentioned above.

Anyway. Thanks for reading. Whats you guys opinion on this.

Ps. I put this in the BB forum cos I belive this is related and relevant.
P+L= INFO.

Hi and welcome!

to me this is one of those sobering news items that make you take a step back and notice the henious way we treat our own people in our own society. Same old story - on the surface it sounds like a great idea to get rid of the kids outside shops, but to the people who can see, its yet more division amongst us.

my two penneth.

hi and welcome johnabelardo :) great post!

Yep i remember seeing this on the "news" a few years ago...i agree with everything shodan said above, we know what are the REAL intentions behind these things...whereas the naive public accept them and see them as a great idea!

I was even thinking about this awhile back, that these could be used to control people, in fact, could isn't the right word there, WILL is more appropriate!

I hate the way they ease these "solutions" in to the unsuspecting public, get the damn things accepted as part of the "norm" and sooner or later we'll all end up paying the price...

I must say i'm shocked to know it's being used in ireland...now that's bad, real BAD.

OMG i could give that shopkeeper a slap in the face lol how badly does he need an icke book dropped in his letterbox!

I'd do it myself if i knew which county he is in!

Thanks for the warning johnabelardo!
