View Full Version : Entire population of India being given RFID

I'm on St. John in the USVI, just saw a headline news report that India is going to be the first country to convert completely to RF Identification. The cards that were shown had the individuals photo, fingerprint, and retinal scan on the front of the card, in addition to the RF tracking capabilities. The reporters also stated "... with the UK and US following quickly behind." I'll try to find a link to an online story for everyone.

Well it was about time for them to start rolling this out, if this is true. They are so far behind schedule anyway.

hi thelateoctober......I reckon in 5yrs, we wil all be carrying the cards.they will get lost ect, so in 10 - 15 we might all be chipped. Then it's game over.

BTW.I love St. John, lucky you ;)
