I have been coming across alot of material related to the George Adamski case in the 1950's. I have briefly read some articles on what he experience but yet to have read any of his books. An interesting website http://www.galactic.to/rune/venuscont.html gives indication of the "Venusians" and their contact with a man with the pseudonym of Edward James and also on page3, George Adamski.
Anyway on page three, it states that George Adamski's probably had contact with the Venusians while in his Astral form which is much more succifient way of exploring another dimension without losing too much time on earth. These astral encounters probably explained why Adamski had such a hard time recalling in much detail what he was taught or saw. From a bit extracted from page 3 of the site it states
" For quite a number of years preceding this direct contact, George did not realise where all the enlightening ideas that were popping into his mind were coming from, although portions of his subconscious knew all along."
From this I recon most of the contactees of the past have had astral experiences which were so real and vivid that they actually mistook for a physical experience. The extraterrestrials have a far indepth knowledge of how to project consciousness out of the body and probably taught Adamski this method. He was consequently ridiculed for associating his mental trips with real life experiences and time.
Another reason why I associate Adamski's trips to astral projections is due to the increasing vibrations of these being's which reside either in the 4th or 5th dimension. They have the capabilities of appearing in our surroundings and probably have done so in the past, to give a specific warning to mankind about the dangers of tampering with atomic weapons. This on the otherhand was a contactee experience to enlighten Adamski and with it explain to willing and receptive humans on the path to evolution. Unfortunately the US government took advantage of this and filled much of the information under national security.
Just a few of my thoughts incoporated with some readings, mostly unquoted unfortunately. Also check out this website detailing the possibilities of the ascension which I am only just becoming more aware of.
