It would explain how humanity spread across the globe. All they had to do was walk, that is if unlike what the scientists believe, that we are far older than originally thought. it would explain a lot.

I remember reading somewhere that a Greek 'scientist' (the name eludes me at the moment) calaulated the earths size. He was apparently out by todays size by 1%. I'd immediately thought that the size could have been exactly that at the time and that there had been an increase in the earths size. Well, it appears to be that way.

This makes sooooo much more sense than what they were telling us at school, funny that, huh.

That would actually explain alot of things! Especially the things happening lately. I don't think that it would be growing per se, but would be expanding, and thus changing density. The only problem I see is the water. If the earth would shrink 25% of its size, the water temperature would cool drastically. The position of the earth in respect to the sun is what makes the life on earth possible. If you move the earth any further by shrinking, then the earth would be much cooler. As you can see, the deviation from the eqator dictates how cool, or warm the climate is. Under such conditions, the dinasaurs would not exists.

Also, now with current volume of the earth, 80% of it is covered with water. Assuming that the water did not originate elsewhere, we'd have most of the earth actually covered under it.

BUT the two could be unified in single explanation of the floating "water envelope theory". If in fact there was an envelope of water around the earth... I think this may have been possible. A possible cataclismic flood then would be that water barier eventually ending up on the surface, and thus restructuring it drammatically. I wonder if anybody ever studied the implication of the water barier floating around the earth? Sounds like nonecense, but I don't discount the possibility.

A bodies speed is based through it's proportion of size to mass ratio. For example, a denser, more heavier object like a cricket ball can be thrown further than a tennis ball. If the earth had the same mass (or similar mass) at different sizes, then the smaller size would have created a greater speed, which could have caued a greater heat being generated on the outer surface, similar as to what occurs with a comet or meteorite.

This in turn could have created a climate with a very high humidity, almost to the point of where you were breathing water. It would explain a progression of animal life forms moving from the water to the land, there wasn't as great a difference between the two at that time.

I was thinking that this could have something to do with the ancient stories (Gilgamesh, etc) and the possible collision of the planets known as Tiamet and Marduk.

The message that this confirms to me is that ALL IS ONE. The earth is growing as all living things grow.

It really gives me the impression of the Russian doll scenario, as above so below...there are life forms within what we call our body that would look at its surrounding and observe things that are equivalent to ourselves as the size of the earth, etc. Where the earth could merely be a living cell within a larger body, like Russian dolls, and we are the minute life forms to this larger body. The question then would be, if this is so, does this larger body perceive us to be of benefit to it's body, or are we perceived of as the same way that cancer is commonly perceived, not beneficial to say the least ???
