My brother showed me a search engine, http://www.eu.ixquick.com/, and the story behind it, so it says, is that AOL released 3 months worth of aggregated search data from 650,000 of its users, publishing all the details in an online database.
This database is still searchable. It is an absolute eye-opener to see the potential for privacy nightmares.
The database is here: http://www.aolstalker.com/
Has anyone seen this or heard of it before?
I think it's a shocking invasion of privacy of the people on the records, even if it doesn't give real names..
