I had this strange feeling tonight. I went to bed around 04:00 and woke up ~12:00 and then fell asleep again to then wake up 13:30. I had a Lucid Dream and rubbed my hands together and it was getting a little nightmareish so i said to myself "i wanna wake up" and started spinning around. At the end of the dream, it was like i had a 3rd eye and saw 2 screens. One screen was from my dream and the other was looking at my room. It felt like i was half awake and half asleep, body sleep mind awake. I gently tried to sit up using my mind and i felt like my entire body was getting goosebumps/shiver and it felt like my astral body left me. I think my astral body was sitting in my bed and looking at my room! Then i lost control and started falling and it felt like i was leaving this astral body and few seconds later i woke up.

What was this? OOBE? opening 3rd eye? astral projection? Was it just in my dream or was my astral body really sitting up in my bed?

I recently read http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65472 + http://www.astralvoyage.com/projection/guide.html and my experiences was similar to what they described. I never experienced anything like this and I've only had about 10 lucid dreams in my life. I'm 16 years old.

(sorry if its the wrong forum, the OOBE thread is here so i put this here)

What you experienced was (as Robert Bruce calls) 'Astral Sight'. With this AS you can see through closed eyelids etc. It is energy manipulation into the brow chakra to be honest and the expanding energy body/awareness.

I have this all the time and is followed by full OBE so you were close.

Let me tell you about Sweden
Only country
Where the clouds are interesting.
Big Brother says it's the place to go. Too much time to think
Too little to do!
Cos it's all quiet on the eastern front!

Fluctuations at a minimum
Hypochondriac tombstone
Sense of humour's gone astray somewhere.
Too much time to think
Too little to do!
Cos it's all quiet on the eastern front!

Goggamatic hallucinations, these occur when you're not fully awake and not fully asleep, the dream world gets mixed in with the waking world, you're inbetween states. Eg; Sometimes you'l be in your dream state and you hear a phone ringing, slowly you become lucid and realise its the sound of your alarm clock and wake up. This is also when you are likely to see ghosts. I was once staying at a aunts house and in the night I was woken up by the feeling of something on the bed by my feet. I looked down and saw a black cat on the bed, it was turning round in a circle before settling down. I spoke to it, then went back to sleep. In the morning I asked my aunt "wheres your cat?" she told me she didnt have one. freaked me out for years, as the cat seemed so real.:D

It wasn't just images, i could feel every part of my astral body starting to sit up in my bed and when i was sitting i saw my room with my astral eyes and then got dragged into my body. But before that when i saw 2 screens i guess it was "Goggamatic hallucinations".
