Hating other people and their cultures is an ANTI awakening thing to do.

You should just love and learn about your own culture(s) more.

If you think welcoming new people will mess up your country, then look at the Welsh.

We're nice to everyone who respects us, and we've still got a much stronger national identity and culture than the English.

I love experiencing different cultures, including the Welsh. I started travelling the world at a young age for that very reason and have experienced living and working amongst many different cultures. I'm fascinated by and have great respect for the cultures of other countries and regions even. That's why I abhor mulitculturalism and the see it for what it is: social engineering to first disrupt host cultures and eventually eradicate all cultural distinctions.

Nice to everyone exept the English of course. :D

More and more people in England are becoming more patriotic and thats not just in a Xenophobic way, but many of our councils won't even let us celebrate our Englishness and we cant even fly our flag for fear of offending some minority or some anti English lefty.

From what I've seen a lot of the English can't celebrate love of country without hating someone else's.
Here in Manchester the St George's Day celebrations in the city centre usually degenerate into drunken racist chanting.
Notice how no one objects to St Andrew's Day, St David's Day or St Patrick's Day celebrations?

You hate the English I remember some of your other posts. Judas Mohammed Iscariot, if you hate us so much, why live here? go live under full Shariah law in some Islamic place because you're always shilling and saying how wonderful Islam is.

We all can't be a generic lump. . .you know.
Just like cultures are what make different
ethnic groups different. . .so different state
flags and an american flag. . and if you want
one another flag from your own country fine. . .. . .

But I grew up with a pledge of alligance
and when you are in someone else's
country. .. do as the romans do
and shut up complaining. . .no one
is asking you to participate if you don't
want to. . .

you're an individual . . .fly your flag . . .high

First, if he IS an 'individual' , then he should not stand under a flag, unless it is his 'own' flag with it's unique design and meaning

Second, you can only fly 'your flag' if 'YOU' have a flag, A national flag is not his/her flag , it is the flag of thier country. Since borders are defined by man and not the planet, 'countries' are an ABSTRACT concept , they do not exist like a rock or a tree or a dog poo exists, they are not 'tangible' so to stand under a flag is to accept someone else's representation of an abstract concept, a legal fiction if you like.

I don't accept all cultures as some are morally decrepit. I reject the 'culture' that is promoted through our media as I see it as harmful

Who says you can tell someone where he stands? I think I own where I stand.
Im glad you can think in abstract terms. . .so what is your concept? I am a very tangible concept that you or no one else 'owns' or owns my flag if it's so personal to you.

What's your problem? media? who owns the media and if they are doing 'harm' why does it go on? I dont' think a flag should fly in your face as 'harmful'.

I'm a woman and you do poorly at defining my borders. . .so I define them for you. ..I'll fly my flag where I want. ..and I hope it eats inners your out. . .if that is what it does for you...k If YOU have a life that is or is it just morally decrypt?

i accept cultures because that is what makes people 'rich'
I can go as far as saying I accept another's religion without taking it as my 'own' because I don't own another's mind or them. . .I accept them as long as they know I am respected as a human being
lack of tolerance makes a closed minded being. . .like YOU

If you are just a thought form. . .I can OWN you.

They don't respect us. :p

Well Northerners do, but some of the Southerners have 'issues' but they're not allowed to admit it.

Racism can be worse when it's hidden.

What about those of us who can't travel?

I find that a big city can have really cool multi cultural zones (usualy inner city places with students as well) which don't mess any one else up. IMHO, it's because inner city people can be very spiritualy warm. A lot of people live in multi cultural zones because that's where they want to be.

You'll probably find 20 good multicultural areas for every one where there's friction.
