I've been watching the classic TV show "The Prisoner" recently and something occurred to me. The whole show takes place in a Guantanamo Bay-type prison.
1. Secret prison. Check
2. Outsiders don't know what happens there. Check
3. Prisoners are held without trial. Check
4. Prisoners are systematically tortured. Check
5. Prisoners are kept indefinitely with no right to habeas corpus. Check
6. Prisoners are constantly monitored, having no right to privacy. Check
I find Guantanamo Bay to be one of the most despicable, evil things that any government has ever done and yet...
"The Prisoner" put a Guantanamo Bay-type prison on commercial television almost 50 years ago.
Was it a warning, predictive programming, brainwashing...? What's your opinion?

If you live in a place where it's legal to download such things, it's available.
Would you mind answering the question:
Was it a warning, predictive programming, brainwashing...? What's your opinion?

One of the ITV channels replay them.
You can view them online with ITV Player -> http://www.itv.com/ITVPlayer/Programmes/default.html?ViewType=1&Filter=1570
Should also be able to find out when they're on TV from there, somehow.

Yes it could be just a TV show, but at the very least the writer was interested and did his fact checking.

There's no such thing as "just a TV show." TPTB don't allow a show on prime time TV unless it meets their STRICT brainwashing standards and it's been like that since the beginning. If you watch this interview you'll get it:

It also predicted a cashless society.
Patrick McGoohan was a great man. I think he got away with it because the restrictions on personal freedom depicted were then seen as outlandish, now they're more like prophecy., or if anything an underestimation.

It's not the same.
Guantanamo is a very crude holding location for people with extreme views which go against the power structures and elite.
The Prisoner village is much more subtle and actually exists WITHIN our towns and cities but because of the demonic ability to control synchronicity and control people's own minds, cam exist with our reality concurrently.....
The prisoner village isn't always a literally isolated village, the masons for example live in a 'village' type mindset, always watched, mind controlled, dehumanised etc.....
Seeing the 'village' as Guantanamo is a red herring.
They don't treat their own important assets in such a barbaric fashion. That's how they treat the patsies and wannabee terrorists who have been duped.
There are certain villages in certain locations of the world where an unnusually high percentage of residents are masonic or other related groups. These places are often used for training and mind control purposes....... The point is Number 6 is VALUABLE. Throughout the show it is made clear he is to be treat well and not tortured. The odd times when he is psychologically tortured in the series it is clear that Number two will be made to feel the consequences of any damage, by their superiors.

I agree about Guantanamo Bay being despicable. I can't believe that the rest of the world is not in an uproar about it.
Somewhere I read that a ritual of tptb dictates that they let us know what they are about to do to us. Seems to be so. I've been paying attention ever since.
Brainwashing, warning...both, they toughen us up to accept their monstrosities. If it were not so, every human being that knows about it would be repulsed to call them selves human.
I have stopped watching any TV or movies that portray violence. (Actually we stopped watching TV and movies since there are none without violence.)

This movie proves what you're saying is true:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0481536/
They turn the torture and injustices that happen at Guantanamo into jokes. How sick can you get?
How is it that making fun of the Nazi's concentration camps would get you thrown into jail in many countries but a movie like the above can be put out and people just laugh?
I'm starting to think that morality is nothing but programming for many people, they only become "morally outraged" about something when they're programmed by religion or the media to do so. Outside of that they seem to have NO MORALS at all. It's so disgusting that it's hard to comprehend.
