Death Valley in California is one of the hottest (130+) and lowest (280+ feet
below sea level) places on earth.
There's an area there called Racetrack Playa where the rocks move across the
valley floor and nobody seems to know why. They leave odd tracks in the mud
but how? Various theories have been suggested.
