I constantly hear by those apparently in the know that the name on your birth certificate is in CAPS. Mine isnt and neither are my kids. Only the surname is.
Is it really a straw man if only your surname is in caps?
My passport name is caps but correspondence from private corperations have my christian names in lower case.
There doesnt seem to be any pattern to it and I'm not convinced that the proper noun argument holds any water legally.
