What would suggest, for the most effective way to loss weight?

I really need to loose some weight. My problem is not over eating but drinking too much - all the wine and cider has really caused me to put on the pounds and I feel like crap.

I have tried many diets like slimming world, weight watchers, atkins etc but never stuck at them. Its not an excuse I know but I am holding down two jobs (one full time and one part time) and studying for a masters degree - I don't have time to measure every little thing out every day without fail although I do like to cook from scratch and want to try and stay away from processed foods.

I do love fruit and vegetables so thats a plus.

What diets have others tried and would recommend? What would a few days of healthy eating look like to you? Would you use any supplements? Am currently taking vitamin B complex and magnesium to help my body with the alcohol intake (am going cold turkey with the alcohol).

All Alcohol should be stopped asap. I recommend she takes one tablespoon of unpasteurised Apple Cyder Vinegar in 250ml of ambient temperature water (room temp) three times daily. She should also start using Virgin Coconut Oil, one to three tablespoons a day. Now add a little kelp or Dulce or Lugol's Iodine. A walking program daily of at least one mile. She should follow the Dr Fereydoon Batmanghelidj 'Water Cure' program exactly as he lays it out. She should use the deparasite program of Cloves, Wormwood & Green Blackwalnut which may help a little further. This deparasite program should only be done when the bowel is free and Liver is performing well. Craig

Have you heard of this thing called Midbrain restoration protocol? Something that will treat the mid-brain for it to control properly our appetite and digestive system? Is it effective for weight loss?

No never come across this idea so don't know if its bunkum or decent. If it uses supplements then its not of worth. Only vegan/food methods work safely. The key to health is the diet and hygiene in/out of the body, period! Urotherapy is known to help with weight loss. Craig

i'm 6 foot even and i weigh 231 pounds right now. the medicine that they started me out on made me gain a buttload of weight. before i was hospitalized and forced to take medicine i weighed 155 pounds. now that i finallly have a little bit of money, i'm gonna eat a diet. i'm going to eat fruits for breakfast. vegetabes(salad) for lunch. Fish for dinner every other day. on days of not fish i'm gonna eat another salad. for snack at night either fruit again or almonds, brazil nuts, or peanuts in a shell. i'ma try to eat organic vegetables but regular fruits. organic may get too expensive, and i don't have money for herbs right now, but the change to raw, natural food should take my pounds away. the only thing raw that i wont be eating is the fish. i can't exercise because i don't have a mojo which was robbed from me by medication, but i suppose i could do craig's protocol of one mile walk a day--that should i be able to handle. I hope i can lose the weight, so i can tell these doctors to stick it--look at me now. but then again, fuck the doctors i wanna do it for myself and my future. the doctors would still be skeptics even if i dropped to 141 pounds. they just donn't get it!
