Hello:

When I have the time I paint/draw. I enjoy listening to music as it helps me get into the art zone. I am looking for new music and wanted to see if anyone has any ideas. I usually listen to classical, trance or etheral type music among others. Some of the Artists I listen to are: Chopin/Nocturnes-Piano Sonatas, Beethoven-Ie:Piano Sonata No. 14, Angels of Venice, early Dead Can Dance, Trance to the Sun, Tangerine Dream Ie: Rocking Mars, The Orb, , Engima, Loreena McKennitt, Lothlorien, Tom Aragon to name a few.. I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance. :)

10. Miasma

In between we insidious vapors shalt teem
Looming so loathsome
And it seems to me like I'm dead inside
A bloated corpse propped out of tradition

I can never recall
What it was I had ever to strive for?
As a youth, was it just to exist autonomously?
No, we don't wanna work
We just wanna fuck, swallow pills, and forget our curses

No, we don't need pigs like you
We follow the laws of our emptying veins
In this world of nothing for me
I'd be sooner destroyed

Vampire youth
Raise your cups to the ne'er-waning moon
Let its visage ring true!
To the hearts cold and blue
We're dying each moment free

We're all animals here
Flesh and blood, bone and dream
We're just impulses here
Just another piece of shit in the storm

Just another piece of shit!

SHIT! [Echoes]

[solo]

From the smelling of things it appears
This shit has come to a boil
Nighttime we shall rule as our own
While this hollow will sleep
We shall bark at the moon

In this world of nothing for me
I'd be sooner destroyed
In this world there is nothing for us
But the sound, but the sound!

Vampire youth
Raise your cups to the ne'er-waning moon
Let its visage ring true!
To the hearts cold and blue
We're dying each moment

We'll never sleep again
We'll be going fucking mad
Sin and Hell is all we will ever know
Just another piece of shit

Their music is very relaxing, yet up lifting.
They also are located in the same town as you.

Hi,

Today was the first time I had the chance to sit down at my computer and listen to these songs. OMG, y'all are awesome! I have so many choices now to download to my MP3 player-thank you. Not only do so many on this forum have such good tastes in music, there are so many who are so musically gifted as well. I know if you are like me, music is more than just the namesake so I appreciate you all taking the time to share the music that moves you. Greatly appreciated! :)

Get out, :) I should have known to look around my own backyard so to speak. Yeah, I love my town. Its so artistically diverse from watching the hippies dance at the drum circle, to the zombie walk, to the fire dancers on Fat Tuesday, to the street performers, artists and musicians doing their thing on the street corners. All with the backdrop of the Appalachian mountains. ..Although I do wish the bars would have other live music than jam bands. They closed my place last year. The only place I know of that played metal, industrial, and goth. Sorry, I digress...

delamo 1999, are you from the area (if you don't mind me asking). I've only found one other person from North Carolina. It gets kind of lonely over in this corner-southeast US. Just curious.. Thanks for the site!
