Until she had the MMR jab Melody Brook was a bewitching little girl who loved to sing and dance.
Two days later the five-year-old started to limp and fall over and before long she couldn't walk.Melody was admitted to hospital within a week, but her condition deteriorated at frightening speed.
Today, six months after the routine jab, the schoolgirl is still in hospital and she has regressed to being 'like a baby' again.
Alicia Ellis believes a MMR jab has caused all the problems for her daugther Melody Brook, pictured with brother Jay Jay
Melody can no longer talk, walk or feed herself. She spends her days sitting in a chair and must wear nappies.
She is even unable to hold up her own head, like a weak newborn infant.
Doctors are baffled by her mystery condition and continue to carry out tests to diagnose it and search for a way forward.
They have told Melody's mother Alicia Ellis, 25, there is no reason to believe the MMR vaccine has anything to do with her condition.
However, Miss Ellis is convinced it is the only logical explanation and there could be a connection to a neurological problem she had as a newborn baby.
Miss Ellis, from Leeds, said: 'Show me the evidence that it's not linked to the MMR jab and I might be all right, but they can't.
'It's awful and unbelievable. I want her back like she was. It's like having a baby again. They have done tests and everything has come back negative.'
Melody suffered some brain damage after she picked up a serious herpes virus at two-weeks of age.
The tiny baby was seriously-ill in hospital and was close to death. Doctors feared she would suffer from developmental problems as a result, but to their amazement she made a complete recovery and grew up as a normal, healthy little girl.
Then last July Miss Ellis, a full-time mother-of-three, received a letter advising her to have Melody and her seven-year-old brother Ryan vaccinated.
The mother said she told nurses she was worried about Melody having the measles, mumps and rubella jab because of the infection she had as a baby, but was told 'she'll be fine.'
Two days later the lively schoolgirl was struggling to walk.
'She told me her legs were hurting and she couldn't walk. She used to love dancing but her she was holding on to anything to support herself.
'I took her to a couple of doctors, then hospital, and she was admitted to hospital a week after the jab. She's been there ever since having test after test but she's just not getting any better - in fact she is getting worse.
'They just don't know what's wrong with her, all the tests have come back negative. It's heartbreaking - she can barely move and she has lost her speech.
'I think the jab has attacked the part of her brain that was damaged when she was a baby. It's just too much of a coincidence for this to happen just two days after her jab, but no-one wants to listen to me.'
The shocking decline is graphically shown by two Christmas home videos, one from 2006 of her with her siblings and a contrasting one of Melody unable to do anything for herself last December.
Miss Ellis, whose partner works as a courier, said her daughter was allowed home from Leeds General Infirmary at weekends, but remained in hospital for the forseeable future.
Safety fears resulted in some parents boycotting MMR over a possible link with autism and bowel disease following a controversial 1998 study by Dr Andrew Wakefield and colleagues published in the medical journal The Lancet.
However, British medical and Government experts blame Dr Wakefield's research for sparking a public health scare and say worldwide research has debunked his work.
This month the Information Commissioner said that documents on the introduction of the MMR vaccine should be released by the Department of Health.
Richard Thomas ruled that their release was in the public interest despite months of stonewalling by officials.
He said minutes from three committee meetings prior to the introduction of the Measles Mumps and Rubella jab in 1988 should be released under the Freedom of information Act.
The information is likely to include data from the pre-licensing studies of MMR on which the authorities relied when granting a licence before the nationwide childhood immunisation programme starting in 1988.
A spokesman for Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust said:'This is a complex case and our specialists are working hard to understand and diagnose Melody's condition.
'Doctors and nurses are doing everything they can to keep Miss Ellis informed whilst tests are going on, as we know this is a very distressing time.'
The MMR vaccine has been surrounded by controversy, amid claims there could be a link to autism. The NHS and the World Health Organisation both recommend the MMR jab and say it is safe.'

People need to stop blaming evil for this because it's only them who carry the responsibility for themselves. Effectively when they make such a choice as like giving MMR jabs they kill their own children due to their failure of informing themselves and making informed choices.
The ruling elite after all leave them the choice whether to kill themselves and their babies. They have to do it this way otherwise they would have big Karma coming back on them.
Anyways, my grandma (who isn't stupid) chose to take the shot for paralysis tick, the very vaccine that was reported actually on a government channel to have completly immobilized a 7 year old girl. And on top of it all, i informed granny of that case and warned her off the vaccines. Now granny is waiting for her date with the booster shot.
And I'm thinking to myself, why should I be sorry for people who make such utterly irresponsible choices for themselves akin to playing Russian roulette?
In a Universe full of danger and hostilities, the prize of giving away one's own responsibility can be fatal and this is all there is to say about this very issue - If there is no will to live, death occurs.

I don't know anyone of the aware people who go to universities, there are still chances to live outside the system or bordering along it and that's exactly what the aware-people are doing as far as i can see.
But soon the only way for the free aware-people to live will be completly outside the system in self-sufficiency, anyway. And so they would teach at home.
Those who love freedom and liberty are going exactly that way while the ruling-elite system's is becoming ever more opressive.

Expleet, Its not stupidity, its TRUST! Blind trust no doubt but trust all the same. Why would people not trust the authorities and doctors? Doctors have been studying medicine for years before the exam, people expect them to know what they are doing.
just like my dentist said the other day, "people make up their own minds" (whether amalgam fillings are a good idea) ermm..they have had their minds made up for them actually.

Yes indeed Beldazar , this is also backed up by ;
not enough media coverage
on the possible side affects ;
people around them taking it too
and indeed also their parents who forced them to have vaccines thatare apparently good for them when they were kids .
inlcuding the trust you mentioned ,
there is almost ( in their good reasoning ) absolutely no reason to question or research upon it .
As you said , their minds have been made up for them and facing all the other factors , it is actually even a wonder how so many people do wake up to some of the crap thats going on today .
While I am here , I will send my best wishes to that family and especially that poor child , she must be going through hell , i mean , we dont even know if she is in pain inside her head etc let alone she might actually be consciouse of everything that has happened to her and might not be able to express it properly .
It is indeed , HELL .

dont put much faith in the daily mail. they tend to put anything in. It may have been regarding the MMR..in the UK the government is pushing it and they put lots of MMR kills your kids type stories..
in their Irish one, the government is not so supportive of the MMR..they have lots of articles about how not giving your kids MMR will injure them.
just another rag selling scare stories.

Remember the big who-ha over Tony and Cherie Blair "taking their baby to France" for the single innoculations as appose to the MMR?
Wonder what he knows that the public shouldn't huh?
His actions confirmed to me that I had done the right thing by my boys and not had them done.

You did the right thing (obviously). I, however, feel really bad that I allowed my children to be vaccinated (not knowing then what I know now). The youngest one, who is now 13, had to be held down in order for them to administer the shot (he was a older than than the norm when he received it). Now that makes me feel sick when I look back on it because I remember the whole scene and I can't believe I did it. The guilt is overwhelming. Needless to say I now advise everyone not to do it.

The Daily Mail seem to be the only mainstream publication to debate/ report on some of what "our" government are up to. They touch on the fringes on some of the topics we have on here, Whether they are just anti- Labour, Im not sure.
It seemed the only media outlet to discuss the 7/7 BBC documentary (using the term loosly) They gave a balanced report of what the program failed to mention, and gave serious credit to what the truthers were saying about 7/7.
Mail Journo Peter Hitchens was on question time a while back about the dangers of the database/ID cards. I think some of the journos at the mail are sniffing in the right direction. If they are legit, may be they need a helping hand to what the powers that be are really up to from us???????? They probably dont know they are printed anti NWO stories, they havent quite connected the dots, but can smell something is not right. As we known the NWO are picking up the pace recently.
The Mail gets the piss taken out of it for being a scaremongering paper, coincidence?

I got my ass whipped for admitting my journo past when I first joined here. My ex worked for the mail up in Glasgow for awhile. Funny how the mail get slack while the Times gets respect, yet it's the old Times building that has the tunnels to the CIA building, at least that's what I saw in a programme not too long back on "undiscovered London" or some such like that.
No, Lordzoma, we don't want to be good citizens. But we do want to have our children safe, sane and healthy. If that means defying the mandatory rules ,then so be it.

Nether of my son's had the vaccines and both are as fit as a fiddle.
I keep getting letters from the doctors asking me to sign a disclaimer for not giving them the jab. These go straight in the bin.
My wife was really worried about not giving my oldest the jabs, but when she saw how upset I got about it she said she would look at the evidence on the net. One evening of research was enough to get her on my side.
We told all our friends about the jabs but all of them had them done anyway, They are all very sicky children always have colds and the like.

How? I asked - if all the other children have been vaccinated how can they possibly be at risk? Are you saying the vaccination is useless Dr Fucking Dickhead? Maybe your share portfolio is at risk more likely.
Frankly, its an insult to my intelligence, and people actually listen to these fucking doctors. Ridiculous.
