Hey, I am putting together some information on things I feel the public should know. I will print copies and hand them directly to people. Hand to Hand contact and I will look them in the eye and answer any questions they have that I can answer.

I don't have any designs yet but I'm making a few as we speak.
-Swine flu essential information.
-Nwo info (multiple specific topics).
-Some personal messages about our state of mind and how its affecting us.
-etc, more over time.

I was thinking we could have a collection of leaflets, pamphlets, resource cards, names, numbers to call etc. The ones that are aware are such a small part of the population. So many people are alienated from the truth because they accept the powers that be as the authority on all subjects.

We need to bridge the gap for these people.

I propose that if anybody has a design for a handout, then please post a link or upload, or whatever so that other people can print them out and use them in their area.

Just print a hundred copies and go to the park. Shake some hands and smile at families. Don't be invasive and insulting. We are not jesus-pushers afterall.

Cool idea and I applaud you 100%

This kind of thing has popped up again and again regarding leaflets. What I have took from previous threads on the subject is that it isn't always best to hand out flyers face to face. People automatically judge you. Its not right but it is the way it is. They judge you and therefore judge your material in exactly the same way. Maybe try wearing a suit ;)

I'm impartial to people's judgement. I'm not looking to sway everyone I smile at. But if one guy stops to ask questions then he will go look on the internet and maybe tell his buddies. And if none of his buddies care, then I've affected one person.

I'm not going to wear a suit. I will wear shorts, sandals, and a short-sleeve button up shirt probably with the front open. So as not to mislead anyone into thinking I am someone I am not.

I don't need anything. I'm suggesting we can have a database of handouts that anyone and everyone can download and print out. That way, if you aren't that good at compiling the info on a paper and making it presentable, hopefully some photoshop buff will make something and post it.

That way, you can refer to this database for the right handout.

It's an individual initiative, but I thought it would be nice to have some ready-made flyers from the community.

Yes it would be a very good idea! A thread especially for flyers, stickers and posters from our more talented people.

Alright. Now that there's an interest how can we convince people to compile them in a general location?

Is there a storage area we can use so people can upload? What would be a good universal format so anyone can take it to PopCopy?

How do we get this started, I'd love to have easy access to hundreds of designs made specifically for giving to the layman. We really need to reach people that only watch tv. Make this shit as digestable as possible and point them to places they can get more from.

Can we sticky this so more people can contribute? It keeps gettin buried.

I'm only just starting this leaflet meet and greet program. This is going to span many subjects.
I've made one so far that I can talk comfortably with the public about.
It's about the benefits of squatting instead of sitting on the toilet. I know its not swine flu but its the topic I felt most comfortable with as a first go.

I'd like to upload the photoshop file so anyone who wants can use it, but I need to find the storage. But I got a jpeg of it to demonstrate what I'm attempting.

Like I said, our target is Joe Schmo that loves Rachel Maddow or any other talking head. They don't know a quarter of the shit we can tell them. It's all gonna go in one ear and out the other if they aren't familiar with the details. I'm trying to provide them with basic but important info, and some resources to find out more.

I can do no more than expose people to this.

Wow, you're really starting small. I think things are a bit more urgent than that, so perhaps you could try a printing off a few of the 9/11 leaflet I provided above? You'll probably get a few less odd looks than handing the above piece of info out on Main St.
But, I digress, this is still good information, and you say you can talk comfortably with the public about the topic, so I say go for it, then perhaps build up to 9/11, fluoride etc.

The problem with this leaflet is expanding it, so it can look pretty unprofessional blown up on an A4 page, as I've discovered.

According to reports in the mainstream media (which has no reason to lie about this particular detail), this strain of influenza contains viral code fragments from:
• Human influenza
• Bird Flu from North America
• Swine flu from Europe
• Swine flu from Asia

I'm going for more of a pamphlet page I suppose. Those are all flashy graphics and cool robot eyes and shit.

I want to give information, not scary pics.

I want people that don't frequent these sites to look at a piece of paper I give them and say, "hey, katy couric didn't mention that?"

I think the average schmo deserves more than people telling them to wake up. They need to be gently shaken awake, I think information that doesn't get talked about but isn't so overwhelming and hard to swallow is a good way of introducing people.

Those that are curious can go to the sources I provide. Those that don't give a shit can deteriorate from the ass cheeks up.
