I don't mean that in a negative way, the US is the kind of country that has enough going on inside it's own borders that people don't need to look what's going on outside. The same reason that less than 25% of US citizens have passports. Theres plenty of vacations to be had here without leaving.

well i find it disgusting how some of my fellow americans don't seem to care about iraqis dying, learning what the truth is, anything other than what paris and britney are up to.

but then there are other americans who really do care.

and i do see your point. the usa is huge. if you live in london, paris is so close. if you live in new york, philadelphia is a comparable distance, for example.
