Indeed, 'we' must be careful of the NWO & the mainstream version on 'oneness'... But, we live on Earth, making us all one. Greg Breaden says we're all mirrors of each other. So in a way we're all connected as one. Red Elk says we are all one, so does Grant Morrison. He says we're all larva, the same thing, (or at least that's what he was told by E.Ts)

So -called 'monotheistic religion' misinterpreted wholeness with oneness. It was also a dualistic rather than unitary mindset, where 'God' was separate from humans and other forms of creation.

I have no problem with the true principle of oneness.
