View Full Version : The Longing for a return to Simpler Times

There are a lot of threads being put up lately saying things like -

"Do you ever wish you didn't know..?"

"Do you regret knowing?"

"Do you wish you had taken the blue pill"?

"Ignorance is Bliss!"

"Does your life suck like mine since you found Conspiracy?"

Etcetera.

All of these fiendish whiners need to feck off and do something else with their time, they shouldn't be involved in any movement at all - they have not the temperment or ability for it. They should get off the internet if its having a bad effect on them, and go to the gym, or the pub instead. Or whatever.

Spreading negativity makes you a parasitic troll.

So IF you find yourself caught in the Web of Internet conspiracism and get down about it, wish you didn't "know" all this stuff about reptoids and bad people, wish it was all about Blue Skies and Lollipops; just GO AWAY.

If you long for simpler times when Mom, Pops, Hard Work and Fun Play were all life ammounted to, just please GO AWAY.

Please remember you are not obliged to be here, on this forum, or to have anything to do with the truth movement. Don't make your only contribution a negative one; it's the least you can do.

Just go back to sleep and stop bothering those of us who are capable of handling it, who are mature and balanced, who are committed. OK?

:)

The new logo becomes you zero1!

And instead of longing for the return of simpler times, which probably never existed, we can actually create them!

How many people have binned their TVs, stopped reading newspapers, etc?

How many people have started gardening, going for walks, etc.

Me for one.

That smiley face does not distract from the fact that you may have 'offended' a few forumers with that rant :p

But sometimes people feel that way. It isn't nice to know the truth knowing that there's not alot that we can do to change it. Sometimes I feel down about it. I don't wish that I didn't know though. But I don't think you should say something like that. sounds like your the ignorant one.

Och, really, if anyone is offended that's just silly. It was not a rant, anyway..

"Ignorance", moi? No. :(

Adults talk this way, Lauren, y'know? Straight and direct is my personal way, but sofy-soft and nicey-nice isn't always good for making a point.

What would you have had me say to make the point?

Thanks, Anthony. Yes, we must never forget there is much to love about life - after all, if we're not doing it because of life, love, justice etc. then what are we doing it for?

Take a walk, breathe, and feeel gooood! :D

Anyone who is truly aware can't go back, I think this is why the Elites are afraid. The question I'd like to ask is why don't the Elites just join with us and use their enormous knowledge for the good of humanity. It's like they just can't do good.

Agreed.

But maybe as Lauren mentioned it's part of the path having to ask this.

And that's one of the good things about the forum. Others can offer some support and understanding, or maybe a well intentioned kick up the arse!

The forum seems to have moods!

Zero1 might just have triggered another upbeat mood! I hope so! :)

Well some might be whining, but some may just be genuinely expressing the way they feel because as someone else said, once you wake up, you can never go back to lala land......on the surface, lala land might have been easier route.

But knowing is still better.

To all kids who survived 1930's 40's 50's 60's 70's 80's
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TO ALL THE KIDS
WHO SURVIVED the
1930's 40's, 50's, 60's 70's and 80's !!

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.

They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.

Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we

rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.

As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts or air bags.

Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and

NO ONE actually died from this.

We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank koolade made with sugar, but we weren't overweight because .

WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING !

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.

No one was able to reach us all day.

And we were O.K.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down

the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computers!, no Internet or chat rooms.......

WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no

lawsuits from these accidents.

We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.

We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays,

made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.

We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang

the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!

Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of.

They actually sided with the law!

These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever!

The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas.

We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned

HOW TO

DEAL WITH IT ALL!

If YOU are one of them . . . CONGRATULATIONS!

You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as

kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives

for our own good.

And while you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave (and lucky) their parents were.

And we're still alive to talk about it :D.....makes the obsessive navel gazing we have in society seem pretty lame.
