View Full Version : WOW! What an incredible experience.

I've just meditated successfully for the first time without any psychedelics, not that I use them anyway. Normally I feel a bit of cosmic energy enter into my third eye and can travel down into it until it expands and fills my 'vision' and sometimes I see or feel swirling images and things, but this time it went much deeper.

But wow, my chakras must have been well rusted, because I felt stalled, until suddenly I was hit by what I can only describe as a huge explosion of white searing light, it felt hot and I thought it was going to burn me. Sounds mad I know. Well I felt the heat and then suddenly my whole body started tingling all over, a very strange sensation that I can't describe properly, I saw visions of scholarly chaps, but a voice or more a will just said "follow the light in front" and then I was being propelled at what seemed like the speed of light, down a strange tunnel with grills of energy, and then burst out into what I can only describe as some kind of landscape that I was consciously aware of.

There were old fashioned sailing ships on the sea and cliffs. Not quite what I was expecting to see as I was hoping to float through the Cosmos but guess I'll have to work up to that one. At first the vision looked vague and dull, black and white I think, but I was conscious all the time and moved where ever I directed myself. I couldn't see anything of myself but felt like I was floating. Colour started to emerge eventually, but then sadly I broke off from my meditation by the sound of my partner shouting me.

I'm going to have to practice this every day, I think we all should. It's a bit scary at first. There were some bad and sinister images fleeting through my 'vision' especially in the early stages, but eventually became replaced with good, beautiful images the further I 'travelled'.

I know this all sounds mad but it was as real as typing this post, well even more so in a sense.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my meditation experience and hope it can help others open up to it, and also those who can offer me further guidance and suggestions?:)

Awesome!! How long have you been trying?

I'm finding it hard to set aside time to meditate, how stupid is that, I can't find time to sit down! Sigh, I gotta take this more seriously.

I often get the best comfort/ effect if I lie on my back in the 'vampire' type position, with my hands folded on my chest

make sure your whole body is supported including putting a pillow under your neck if needed

Nice to hear the Light break through for you. With continued effort, the Inner Sun will appear [within your Head] as a Triangulation of the Sacred Energy Centers, and you can travel through It, as it is Your Power/Energy Source! Quite wondrous, but difficult to reach the level, unless your energy is configured with sufficient spiritual-evolutional readiness. Focus, patience, persistence. One's spiritual embryogensis Unfolds through these virtues.

I looked at your avatar, then read your post: I thought, 'how apt!'

At least now you know the Fields of Light are everywhere about us, and so many others have no idea. Wait'll you get almost 40 yrs. of cosmic Intent-driven meditational experience behind you...You'll hardly be 'human' anymore.

Concrete worshippers are the larva of Earth; the Cosmic Winged One(s) Burst Forth.

Good post.

Sounds like some sort of spontaneous OBE. Or were you aware of still being in your body sitting/lying down?

You're right about trying it every day. Back in my uni days I would spend at least an hour a day trying meditation etc. and I had some great successes. It dramatically improves your chance of success if you are doing it regularly and 'training' your mind/brain to reach these states.

Right on LargeJack!!!! I know too that it is very possible to get into a very deep meditative state without the use of mind alternating substances. I too have been able to do this, but for very short periods of time and I can tell you that the experience is incredible.

Do you listen to music, chanting, or are you able to just go with the silence and deep breathing? I'd like to know more.

WOW!

I spent the better part of a decade trying to find a system that I was comfortable with.

In the end it was a caucasian american that opened my eyes to the teachings of the vedic people. Its simple its advanced and it works.

Its basically Kundalini Yoga.

I am still clearing out the junk as it were and then I am off astral projecting.

Conscioulsy that is.

;)

Anyway here is the link.If it helps one person all better.

I also find it hard, there is rarely any quiet in my house. I don't really set time aside, I need to be more organised.

Thanks for the link, I'm going to use it as well. I have not had any further successes so there's still lots of clutter in my mind as well.
