Its great to read all these posts. I have started to make changes in how I view things and have come across some useful stuff on other sites. Some Canadians are doing well at getting out of the base system too and thought I would share this gem.

I thought it was interesting as well as mad at first.But the more I have researched, the clearer the deceptions. Although its based on Canadian system, its inherited from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (why cant we have a shorter country name) and so... the same should apply here.
It certainly fits with some of the things David has been talking about and I only hope that it does not go against posting guidelines as I feel it is one small step to a solution.
