Then why are they child-focused? Why not just help the parents to better provide for their children? Why the meddling?

I look at the site. at first look seem to be an organization to indoctrinate the childrens and stole their own culture. Christians have a long tradition to rape children. They do not help parents because help parents is a tool
to give popolation more indipendence. they only focus the symptom, not cause.
The target is the controls and indoctrination of the popolations and maintain the condition of penury. I require more information I can' say if they are also employ to find childrens for pedophilia.
But tradition of the christians are: Indoctrinate, to create submission, erase
the original cultures, create dipendence and poverty, rape childrens and pedophilia.

( for christian i intend catholic ) This organization can be necessary but i don't trust in them.
What they say is not what they do usually. They make a good propaganda. Maybe false maybe truth what they say. We need information!!

I don't like these big organizations that claim to be helping people around the world while flying a flag of religion. Helping anyone should be done without bring religion into the fold. But what really bugs me is the size these organizations have come to be. Heck, if I donate $100, what are the chances that all $100 is actually going to go towards feeding some children in a poverty stricken country? Pretty damned small. In fact I'd not be surprised if none of my money made it there.

If you want to help someone out, do it in person. There's plenty of needy people everywhere. Buy them dinner or some clothes or something. At least then you know for sure that they're getting what you want for them.

An association with name "Caritas" (catholic) used the money gift by the believers to buy 8000 macete used to kill a lot of people in Ruanda.
Caritas is well know as an aid association to support people in poverty.
They used the money to buy 8000 machete to kill the people.
Don't worry in some case your money will reach the poor people.

It's true that these organisations have large overheads. They employ a lot of local people too, so some money reaches them.

Yeiyayel, where did you find that information about Caritas? I think it's very possible it happened, but they managed to keep it out of the news didn't they? It would be a very dark and disturbing example of misappropriation of funds.

They found a bill in a proceeding in a justice court against assassins in Ruanda. The bill was payed from Caritas to buy 8000 macete used to kill

Next time I'm in Venice I will certainly do that. I live slightly more to the north though (Holland) so it's a bit out of the way for me. Let's keep on this subject a bit. I will create a Google alert for it.

Meanwhile, have you considered writing a book about your experiences as a "cult victim"? I say this because I read the Sorcer's Apprentice by Amy Wallace, who was a disciple of Carlos Castaneda and had sex with him repeatedly. Very interesting read.
