This is a complex subject which I've been thinking about off and on. A person on this forum can easily say, "Well, if it weren't for the Illuminati, we would have progressed so much faster." This is Henry Makow's view in response to the HiddenHand. But this argument is believed only because we do not like to suffer, therefore we take confort in the thought that we as humans can evolve without pain. The most likely situation however is that if the Illuminati never came to shake things up, we would be in a state of stagnation.

But this is all trivial. What is evolution? What is the spiritual? People mistake the ego to be the spirit. When an object is perceived, the consciousness which views it is the ego or pure mind. Therefore consciousness is not the spirit but rather another body. In dreaming, this ego-consciousness was present but it had a different feel in the dream. Evolution is part of this ego-consciousness and there is nothing spiritual about it.

That which is really spiritual is the substratum which makes the ego possible. You can call it pure awareness. This pure awareness identifies itself with consciousness taking on limitations. This is the original sin and the fall from grace. Awareness is beyond space and time. This spirit has no levels of progress. It doesn't change or evolve. It has no beginning nor end, perfect, unchanging, in a state of eternal bliss. Another name for it is unconditional love.

The universe is the child of chaos. The only purpose of the universe is to ask the question, "what is the purpose of the universe?" Upon investigation, the journey ends when the self (pure awareness) is rediscovered, and then there is nothing more to do.

At least that's what the saints tell us. :D

Hi lionsheart,

Welcome to the forum. I caught you post in the new members thread (good post).

To an extent fear maybe a step to the next level, after all its often what wakes people up to begin with. I think that to progress you need to shed the fear as you move along each new path. There will be times when you revert back to control through fear, because there are challenges that we aren't always ready to accept.

I think you have broken free of the worst layer of the illusion and now you are armed with the knowledge of that feeling. It will be easier to make the leap next time because of that.

You have just stepped on to a roller coaster of emotions. You are going to have some really bad days as you discover some truths, followed by the enjoyment, excitement and freedoms awareness brings.

We're in for a hell of a ride...enjoy. :)

All natural feelings can lead in our leveling process. Whatever comes to us - fear, greediness, lust, etc. imho it's best to accept carefully and digest separating food from crap.

I think the greatest guide are these inborn passions and feelings. They are our nature but a lil bit corrupted. That we can change by purifying with living streams of spirit not cutting parts.

The other way is to mentally buy some philosophy or religion and try to twist our whole being to fit it. I don't even want to know what is to do this. How can we live in flowing happiness and satisfaction or even just resist life's pressure not being deeply rooted in our own substance?!

were it takes me i dont know hopefully somewere iv seen in my dreams maybe then them places can answer a few of my questions
im hopeing there good places and not bad ones but something is calling me
