Although on the surface it's just another BBC spin piece I did notice an interesting statement from Jonathon Porrit, which was the following quote about Brown....
"He genuinely feels that a successful competitive economy of the future has to be growing its aviation business in order to make UK plc more productive, and so on," Sir Jonathon said.

Anyone spot it????

He actually says "UK PLC" hmmmmm seems he knows that the UK is a company

Yep, heard that annoying fooking phrase UK PLC quite a bit lately, usually from these fancy suit wearing effete 'city' types.

The truth is out. the UK is a corporate entity. It is not a nation.
