Has anyone heard of Area 99? One day while searching on Google Earth (I know it's censored.. but...) I dropped the keyboard and it hit some keys, while I was looking up Area 99 (I guessed at other numbers after looking at Area 51), it unlocked something I've never seen on that program. A large red X over area 51 (which is the first # I looked up) popped up. I saw many bases, including 99, that looked like they would be underground (there were no buildings on the
sites listed as bases). There were also crash sites for planes all over the united states listed. Bomb test sites were listed.
Has anyone else had this phenomenon? Or heard of Area 99?

Sorry no, but I have seen some very strange things in google earth, unique shapes and other stuff (one even looked like a giant spider/space ship thing half buried in the ground)
All those small islands in the middle of the seas are fun to look at, lots of secret research bases on some of them, and I think one was even partly building a station for a rail road of some kind (underground maybe)

They found the lost city of Atlantis on Google earth, then realised it was a mistake.
I wouldn't read anything into anything you find on it. You're wasting your time.

no area 99 anymore.... i dont know how i got it to show up.... a lot of underground facilities showed up also... i didnt show what i looked up as it would probably get deleted.
sucks they deleted the area 99 shit though that was intense... had "restricted access underground area 99" "area 99 weapons development" all this crap.. anyways got the x to show up :)
