Has anyone else noticed how July tends to be really sunny until the kids break up from school, I live in Gloucestershire and it has been pretty horrible since last Friday :(
I have some work to do now, and I am in my office room with the big light on because it is so gloomy and dark, this is the end of July ffs, what the hell is going on! What happened to the heat wave we were warned about, or was it the 4 days of beautiful sunshine we had a while back?
If there is a conspiracy regarding the weather it appears to be that they are causing constant rain in the UK to depress it's residents with the foul weather. It is raining cats and dogs, meanwhile the slugs are out in force in the garden
The worst thing is that we are told in the UK that we have a water shortage every summer, I mean - hello, it's pi***ng down for most of the year. Can anyone else make sense of this madness, water shortages, warning about heatwaves, we live in the British Isles  If there is such a thing as swine flu it will probably be planning to move on to warmer more clement places and not stay in this grey, wet and depressing island!
I thought the UK was going to end up with a mediteranean climate due to climate change, or at least that's what they told me at school when I was a nipper, tbh I feel kind of cheated now.

You guys (or should i say gals) have Thames water as the urban supplier?
Because if you do, i can understand why there are "water shortages"

Lol, you hit the nail right on the head there, that's exactly what its like :D
I don't have Thames Water as my Supplier. I have Seven Trent and I moved recently and changed suppliers, my old supplier was anglian Water. My bill mysteriously dropped by nearly Ģ400 simply by moving about 100 miles west, maybe there is more water round here? I suppose I am about 8 miles or so from the Welsh border so who knows

I'll trade... Seriously :D*jumping up and down*
Well, i actually live across the pond (Southern California) and it's been HOT:eek:. ..i'm miserable...the computer can't talk, but it's no better.... its like a skillet on my lap.
I can't wait to be done with a project i've been working on here, and hopefully i'll be able to go up North, at least for a little while. Because what you're talking about sounds like heaven, and there's a place i know of here in the States that's kind of like England, with a little Canada mixed in (well, Canada is right up close)...the weather, the people, the whole atmosphere. I wish i could just pack all my stuff and and a 12 pack of Red Bull (awful tasting stuff), and just drive 24 hours straight, plop down on a friend's couch, sleep, then come out and enjoy the rain....

I know exactly how you feel budgeebird, in Oz the summers are exhausting , too!!
Well, unusual_suspect, you are having the weather we should be having now in the middle of winter!
But instead ,the last few days have been 21c, beautiful and warm ... we are having your summer and you are having our winter! crazy, hey.
I lived in england for almost a year, a while ago, and remember that i hardly ever saw a blue sky, it was always cloudy. I was so glad to get back to Oz.
Nowadays, it seems like it is summer almost all year round and so i treasure winter when it is here!
( I understand how budgee feels right now!).
When winter finally comes along, i actually look forward to wearing a winter coat, if it gets a bit colder, it is a treat to wear gloves and scarf, lol! I really enjoy a bit of winter. And hot choccy drinks, and hot soups etc.
All too soon, it is summer again for what seems like at least 8 months of the year. Spring and Autumn seem to have shortened to 2 weeks or so...
Anyway , tomorrow is the 22nd, the Solar Flare is supposed to happen. Wonder if that has anything to do with the weather or not?
will just have to wait and see

there is something not right!!!
The German military got found out for manipulating the weather over some German cities. I suspect this is going on here. Remember, the sun is providing the 'X-factor' of vibrational change so they will want to block it out.

I don't think the solar flare has anything to do with it, this is the 4th really miserable summer we have had, if it wasn't for the fact that it is my time of the month and I am feeling hot, flustered and hormonal I would be wrapped up in a jumper, thanks goodness for hormones!
Btw paul, I agree, what do you think is going on here?

the weather could likely be manipulated...

After two years living with the rain and gray skies, i've really gotten used to it all, so this year (and two months) that i've spent in SoCal feels to me like an inferno...it only rained three times. Two times out of that it was a light drizzle. Now that June gloom is over, i just wanna get out of here, can't take it....it would be cool if i could in another month
The only upside is that i've met someone really special...but it seems even he prefers milder weather:cool:

Do you have any planets or points in 6 degrees either side of of 30 degrees in Cancer, Libra, Capricorn or Aries? The eclipse is in the 30th degree of Cancer.
I don't think anything will happen, and how anyones can predict a solar flare on the 22nd is questionable. Although there will be an interesting aspect with Uranus :p
What do you reckon?

Its all to do with the jetstream, according to the met office. The 130mph wind in the upper atmosphere that circles the globe.
It usually moves to the north of the British Isles during the summer months, dragging the weathersystems north with it. But for the last few summers it hasn't budged, its stuck bang over us. Hence front after front after front...

I heard this too, I saw a documentary about dumping carbon in the sea and they were banging on about the Atlantic conveyore belt and how that might switch off, thus affecting the golf stream and then the UK would get very cold.
Actually we are on the same latitude as parts of the world ho have polar bears, only it doesn't bucket down with rain there!
I am sure they knew that the gulf stream was funny again this year and this is probably permanent, what happened to the global warming and Britain being like the mediteranean? I've been looking forward to that since I was a wee nipper :(

Something odd has been going on with the weather now in the uk for the last few years. I'm not really 100% convinced about chemtrails but something aint right. The more I here about weather manipulation programmes, the more it seems plausable, I think quite possibly chemtrails are for real.
If I remember rightly Contrails allways dispersed quickly, but now some of them hang around for hours and just spread rather than evaporate. Is this unusual phenomena behind our bad summers? I'm not convinced either way TBO:confused:

I have been looking at satellite photos for years now, always interested in watching for clouds and clear sports heading over. However, recently, in the last 4-5 years I have noticed a thin ribbon which seems to be drawn across the Atlantic. heading slightly north east it seems to point direct at the UK and looks like a huge stream of cloud and rain, probably the jet stream. The only time there is nice weather is when this thing isn't coming over, then there is rarely more than a day or two of good weather then here it comes again.:(

That's a bummer man :( I notice you are in Wales too, the west seems to get a lot of rain beacuse of the hills and mountains, I live a few miles away from the border in Gloucestershire, it is quite hilly here. It's cloudy today, was raining earlier but I can see a patch of blue sky now :)

That sounds very much like HAARP!
In fact, that is HAARP!
http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/haarp/esp_HAARP_12.htm
"Dr. Eastlund stated that his new invention could be used to change the weather by redirecting the very high wind patterns... The invention uses an earth-based power source to create electromagnetic radio waves and focus them way up into the atmosphere. Dr. Eastlund says the invention could steer the jet stream, but could also be used to disrupt communications all over the world."

Bad weather is patr fo the deal for UK residents, however it is a green and pleasant land. The slugs are a nightmare, they have crawled in to my herb box and left everything except the basil - my favourite :( They have had a good go at my chick peas too. Oh come on. Itīs because Iīm still on work. I want it this way. Who the heck wants to work inside a bloody steel building when itīs nice weather outside? On friday next week I will start my vaccation. It is always sunny weather when I go on holiday, always has been, always will.
I am the sun God of the northern hemisphere. I, ChaDWa, hast spoken. I am the first, the one in the middle and the last. The rites of becoming hast begun. Clouds will soon dissapear. Now give me a sacrifice. I demand beer, weed and women or I will smite thee.
