Darren: Pollard arrested again......!!

Darren's attempts to protect his rights have taken another turn as he was arrested this morning at approx. 11 am this morning, 1 hour after a supposed warrant had been issued for his arrest for what we can only guess was not appearing for his hearing. This was not the case.........

This man has committed no crime. We talked on camera to people supporting him and onlookers asking questions......Darren gave a few speeches outside the magistrates and we were observed by various police units and constables doing so. We raised no controversy and Darren informed the clerk from the beginning of the proceedings that he wasn't a Mr Pollard, originally the hearing was scheduled for 10 am in court 11 but they attempted to get darren to contract and enter a different court of his own volition.

He refused on several occasions to allow them any jurisdiction in the matter and stated he would not enter anything resembling a dock. He proceeded to the court entrance where we discussed the matter with security and Darren said he would wait outside for their response. He fears for his own safety and that of his pregnant partner Donna. After an hour of filming outside with no word from security he left the area of his own accord and was immediately arrested.

The arresting officer said "Sir, there is a warrant out - a warrant for you to appear, we're gonna go to steelhouse lane, you are under arrest for (inaudable on my audio) and it will harm your defense if you fail to mention something you later rely on in court" to which Darren answered "I don't understand".

He was transported on foot around to Steel house lane police station

(0845 113 5000) Anyone who feels they can support him can call check on his welfare or what proceedings they intend to hold. We've been informed that they intend to process him at close of business today....

We'll be there as and when we can and there should be video uploaded tonight by the we are change brum folks to raise awareness of darren's persecution by the "authorities"

just on the phone now they say they dont have him. I've told them I wish to make a complaint against the arresting officer. Just waiting now as I have insisted she check. Any details where he was actually arrested? They've refused to give information. (data protection Act) I want to know who the custody seargeant is. (he's busy) I want to make a protest there in person. (can't give you any information when you arrive get Darren Pollard to do it himself) He can't coz you have him under police brutality in custody and WE ARE GOING TO SUPPORT HIM IN PROTEST OF A VIOLATION OF HIS RIGHTS. (well if you want to do that write to admin) So is he there. (can't give you that information over the phone but he's not here anyway).

Update....

He appeared before magistrate around 4.30 pm. I spoke to a friend supporting him who gave me a rundown of what happened so......

The officer's number will be on the footage when the guys get it up later and he refused to contract at all stages, they sent him to HMP Winson Green overnight so that they can verify his "identity" in court (somehow) so they can proceed. I feel that this is why he wasn't brought up till late in the day so they could at least have him overnight.

The calls that have been made on his behalf previously do get back to him and it keeps his morale going.....

No-one will be able to speak to him but just confirming his whereabouts as a concerned friend of the family don't do any harm......

He's worried that they may attempt to section him under the MHA as people have been phoning him and asking q's about his children and attempting to gain entry to his home with un-endorsed warrants so anyone who can make it for his next hearing at Bham Magistrate at 10am can watch in the gallery

I rang that 0845 number today, I got asked where was he arrested. Birmingham. Where abouts? I didn't know whereabouts so he said let me know where and put the phone down soon after

Darren is being imprisoned at Winson Green: call and demand his release, the more phone calls they receive the more light is shone on them!

Darren was called to court 11 as stated on the sign/board. He served notice to the Judge via the clerk, when the judge recieved this, the judge changed the court to 7 and judges so that Darrens notice would no longer apply, court 7 had a partitioned dock. He refused to enter the dock and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Iv'e been thinking about Darren all day,i just watched the video and i can barely believe what has happened to him.

My thoughts are with all who are supporting him and very much with his wife and children who must be so distraught.

I cannot comprehend the world we live in today when an innocent man is remanded for free speech.
For expressing his views in trying to set us all free.

I think they are terrified. I was there with him for almost an hour outside and nothing was attempted by the police when we were in front of the court. Several specialist and routine vehicles pulled up to observe what was happening and they did and said nothing.

They wanted as little fuss and publicity as possible. Equally, they can't execute a warrant on a man for not appearing in court outside on the front steps of the court can they? They would look like total idiots - no wonder they had to wait till he moved. Once he'd moved they pounced - simple. I was astonished at the way so-called "law" works on this country.

Let's face it, there's no law except "do what the rich say or suffer". This is the only rule being upheld in this place. We live in a lawless society. It's time to take control of our own futures...

I dont think it is quite like that.... Yes you got points on ya licsense, but you didnt contract with them and thats the most important thing. You will just have to have a grounghog day with it again but you are much wiser now.
