again selling it thro fear "if you have a car crash we can help you with this data" - and then shows cars overturned.

this sucks so much its untrue. no referendum, no one asked.

we have to ask why all this MASS surveillance in such a short space of time?
surveillance = knowing where you are.

why do they want too know where we are? so their nanobytes can find us and inject us with a chip and we wont even know it!

sheesh, ive seen to many vids in the past hour -

off for a calm chakra med.

I must do a research to see if Sweden has a similar thing as ChoicePoint:

http://www.choicepoint.com/

According to the video, they have tons of information about every U.S. citizen.

But can I trust googlonumous? They may collect my data for some evil purposes. Also, they access statcounter.com each time I do a search, and statcounter.com may in turn collect my data.

Good call, let me know what you find mate.

Even without such company or agency, they still have vast amounts of information about every citizen through the Internet, mobile phones, and what we buy. Not only when we buy using credit cards but also when using cash, at least bills since they have serial numbers on them that can be tracked. If we only use coins then that should be safe, but who wants to walk around with large sacks of coins? lol.

Who can you trust today anyway? :D

Use a good firewall and you'll be fine...

Firewalls can be good for protecting data stored locally on my computer, but information such as my IP address and the queries I type can still be collected by the site I visit or by any indirect site (such as statcounter.com in this case).

reset your modem and type ipconfig into dos. you may be lucky and get a new ip from your ISP. do this before and after - it will help.

But the new IP address could be tracked by checking which MAC address it is connected to.

Check out the "Audit My PC "site

You may especially want to try the
Firewall Test
and the
Anonymous Surfing & Privacy Check

One of the biggest security holes you're likely to have is your browser.
If you're using FireFox, SeaMonkey, Mozilla and you've discovered holes from the above site, check out
