I have just bought some salt crystal tea light lamps. Have any of you got one of these, and does it have good effects ? Are they similar to organite ?

Are they meant to be similar to orgonite?

Are they meant to be similar to orgonite?

Maybe. This is what it says on the leaflet that came with the tea light holders :-

"The lamps and tea light holders emit negative ions (natural ioner) which are beneficial to our health. They counteract electromagnetic pollution in all working, living and sleep areas as well as damaging cigarette fumes and television radiation"

Yes it's a very soothing colour. I had them on earlier tonight with the curtains closed (it was still light outside) and it felt really nice.

Hi steevo:)

I've got a couple of them & really enjoy having them on. I keep one by my pc and one in the bedroom. Their warm orangy glow is very soothing and I also like the warmth from them after they've been on for a while too:)

Anything that ionises the air is good in my book!:D

Are they similar to organite ?

According to Don Croft, Orgonite gives a higher negative ion count in the air, and they say that when you heat the crystal lamp and it becomes quite warm by the lamp, it causes the crystal to release negative ions in the air. You can see how the salt has come off and accumulated at the footing.

I prefer the darker, orange-yellow glowing ones that are not so bright. They look like flesh and bone when the light is out.

Funny :) I moved some furniture around today and have one on the top of my desk. I have just lit it up.

I don't really know what good it does but it gives off a good energy.

They look lovely, I can imagine that they also make a room look very cosy when lit, not to mention ionising the air, so I will have to get some for myself!

I had never seen them before now so thanks Steevo :)

The salt crystal lamps are great I've got 2 one tea candle one and the other with the light inside...which keeps blowing. Fucking thing, hahaha.

There good I will get some more and I think they are essential for modern day living as they do emit negative ions which can be found only in natural settings like waterfalls and heavy forested area's.

They also taste great too.;)

The fluoride in them is the natural occurring one, not the shit that is manufactured from Aluminum smelters.

LOL boots, I didn't want to admit to licking mine - but I have had a taste too & it's yum, lol!:o:D

They are lovely things to have and I'd like to eventually get one for each room.

Lol, I've not actually tried that but I'm sure you could grate some off for cooking:D

I got one of them online (can't recall the site now but there are plenty around). The other one I got in a crystal sort of shop. You can find them in various places, but definitely worth looking around as prices vary considerably. The online one I got cost about £30 and only £5 delivery, which I thought wasn't bad as it weighed a ton & is quite a big piece:)
