Just like the UN spread AIDS in Africa if you recall.

Also the Red Cross did it with blood donors and was fined about 50p for every person that died.

Although it's not been broadcast yet I can tell you that they've found a second animal, a sheep, at a slaughter house down the road that's also infected with the same pathogen.

Hopefully, because it's not a virulent pathogen, they'll soon get on top of this outbreak. If the winds stay mild & don't start changing direction..

As an aside the rumour mill is suggesting a vial of the pathogen was dropped which triggers a venting cycle in the closed lab & somehow some got vented into the atmosphere. That's a very bad day for somebody at the office!

Interesting news. Just a clarification: someone spread a rumor about AIDS in Africa alright, but the AIDS in Africa is not at all the same as the AIDS in America and in Europe. And it's not at all certain that what is called AIDS in Africa actually is AIDS at all, according to this video:

I looks like the fact is that AIDS in Africa never started at all. AIDS in America and Europe on the other hand seems to be real AIDS, but AIDS is not caused by HIV according to Peter Duesberg:
