Just wanted to ask people what their Moon sign is and if they think that their Moon sign is as strong as their Sun Sign. I really identify with mine which is Sagittarius, and to bve honest, I often feel like more of a Sag than a Pisces which is my Sun sign. What about you?

Virgo. Makes me very self critical apparently.....
My understanding of sun/moons signs was that the sun sign signifies more how people see you and the moon sign signifies what you're 'really' like, the inner, emotional you.
(you know, the 'you' that comes out after a half bottle of Chardonnay that makes you want to dance, then cry, then ring people at inappropriate hours to tell them how sorry you are to have wronged them, then makes you raid the fridge to eat ice cream to punish yourself.)
......
.....
.....
just me then?

No, I understand, the real you that comes out when you have a had a few too many, tries to "wrestle" people - ahem (but really it's an excuse to get hot and sweaty with a member of the opposite sex while in the beer goggles phase) :o and tells people, no offence but I always thought you were a wanker, but really you are ok, then leaves to go and get more pissed with someone more interesting and more up for serious drinking. (that might just be me though :p)
We have all been there Krackhead.

:D looks bad reading about it doesn't it ? but i'm in my 30's and used to it by now :)
The Scorpio Moon is a mysterious Moon. This Moon is strongly motivated by feelings while remaining most adept at hiding true emotions. It is a Moon of great willpower and good judgment, but one which never forgets a good or bad deed. The Scorpio Moon is one of the more difficult Moons, often having to face and conquer more obstacles than the other Moons. It is prone to aggressive and dominating behavior in addition to being wilful and stubborn. The Scorpio Moon possesses strong beliefs which will likely be expressed in a passionate manner. This Moon is one of secrecy and personal independence coupled with heightened intuitive and psychic abilities. However, the Scorpio Moon can be jealous and distrustful, believing that the sharing of feelings leads to vulnerability.

I too have lived and learned :) Scorpio has great potential in its positive aspects, but the negatives are scary..LOL. I think I have it under control most of the time.
Sun oppostion moon must be difficult to integrate....although I don't see scorpio and taurus as being at extreme odds like some other moon/sun oppositions.

Excellent stuff - Appears quite accurate :)
The Virgo Moon is a truth-seeking Moon. This Moon mentally uses what it learns and is suspicious of face value information, possessing a deep desire to carefully sort through all available data. It is a cautious and serious Moon, being also reserved, methodical, analytical and critical. The Virgo Moon is a perfectionist Moon, possessing perseverance and good organizational skills. A sense of being in control is vital to this Moon and the ability to understand the feelings of others may be difficult. The Virgo Moon harbors a deep-rooted need for the acknowledgment of personal abilities.
Ignore the bit not in bold! :D

That's a really good site.
Do you think that Moon signs can seem so accurate because the Moon is so close to the earth and has the most visible affect on the planet, the most obvious being the tides?
In esoteric astrology the Moon is said to represent past lives and what is carried over in to this incarnation.
The DK foundation site has some interesting articles.
http://www.dkfoundation.co.uk/
They also have a very interesting take on 2012 and seem to think that due to Earth changes only parts fo the world above 65 degrees north will be safe and they are relocating to Finland. I suggest looking at the red letters, here's a quote>>>
The nature of the occurrences of 2012 will be appreciated where there is understanding of the mystery of baptism and, specifically, the purpose of immersion.
Immersion in water heals and restores. There are those who view the immersion of an infant at baptism as an act of unkindness because that is the way that human thinking has gone; and there are those who will view the immersion of terra firma in water as a judgement upon mankind. This is not the case.
In 2012, to permit it to raise its vibration, the planet will see its most polluted parts immersed. Physical pollution reflects astral pollution. Man is partially, but not wholly, responsible for creating those astrally low places but, unavoidably, he is caught up in the situation. It is the habit of self-centredness that makes him think he is the cause.
As a general statement, the terrain north of 65 degrees will be above the global upheaval. This will be the safe zone[iv].
There will be other locations below 65 degrees North pre-designated as safe, and information about them will be released at appropriate times, through the appropriate channels.
The territory above 65 degrees North is open to anyone who is able to make and to take the decision to leave what is familiar to him.
Survival is a matter of choice.

I contacted them about teaching esoteric astrology and they asked me if I wanted to go to their weekend gathering in Glastonbury. Something about going and hanging out with a bunch of occultists that I had never met before didn't sit right with me though.
I'm sure they are good people and it is great that people are sharing info on the internet.
The Esoteric stuff is all based on books by Alice bailey of the Theosophical society, I am reading Esoteric Astrology by Alic Bailey at the moment and it is a bit heavy going, but very informative and mind expanding!

i though the 12th house is relevant to past lives
this is from a robert hand interview
http://www.skyscript.co.uk/rhand.html
I have no problem with that because, as I've said to many people, there is something kind of trivial about the idea of us being influenced by the planets (whatever that means). Astrology is not important, in and of itself; it's important because it's an instance of something much bigger. The "something bigger" is what's important. One possible formulation of that bigger something (though I certainly wouldn't limit it to this) is that it's a demonstration of the Universe as an intelligence that is constantly spreading communication throughout itself, to its parts. Our task, then, is to learn to read - and astrology is one of the languages, but there are lots of them. Astrology is only one.
That's the important thing. Jupiter - that blob of gas out there, with all its satellites - doesn't do a damn thing to us. It is simply a sign in the sky, as Plotinus and Ficino said. And we participate in making it a sign. It wasn't done to us; we create the astrology. Which means that astrology is not a discipline with an absolute, constant body of received truth. But on the other hand, look at the transition from 18th-century physics to 21st-century physics. The same thing happened: The discipline evolved, and some of its most fundamental laws changed. Now, of course, we know that there is an absolutely real set of physical laws, and we're getting better and better at understanding them … Except that, if you stop and think about it, there's no evidence of that. It's equally plausible that the laws of physics are constantly changing! (laughs)

This is where atrology gets tricky. There are different variations, some people say the south node is to do with past lives. Then there is vedic astrology which is totally different, I end up being an Aquarius with a Scorpio Moon and Gemini rising.
I am particulary drawn to the esoteric astrology, the esoteric rulers are different to the exoteric rulers, for example the esoteric ruler of Pisces is Pluto.
I guess you have to go with what resonates with you.

I think the 12th house is all the subconcsious stuff, ...so it could mean that Jupiter ( which is planet of luck , good fortune, outgoing) is hidden from you
dont know about Fortune
Mars in 12th house in cancer... might make you sympathetic to others, but still hidden
Moon 11th house - helping people in institutions, such as hospitals, mad houses or even FEMA camps, eeek!
You sound like a great truth seeker!

Hello :D
From experience I find the house where the Sun resides to be very influential, I know someone who is a Gemini sun sign but is very much like a Taurus, I actually had them pegged as one before I knew their birthday. I did his chart for him, and he has his Sun in house 2 which is associated with all things Taurean!
A 12th house sun and so much 12th house activity could give a very Piscean influence to a person as house 12 is associated with the sign of Pisces.
As Coco has a Cancer Sun this will be complimentary as Cancer and Pisces are water signs, so this should not cause too much conflict and tension within her psyche!
Jupiter in house 12 is interesting as this is the traditional ruler of Pisces. I feel that this could point to a very sensitive and intuitive nature with so much of an emphasis on the water element and a very fertile imagination with so much 12th house and Piscean influence :)

When Neptune was discovered it kind of took over rulership of Pisces, some people prefer to do it the old fashoined way and still use Jupiter tho'.
Thanks Curtain Cat and Unusual Suspect,
I appreciate your help. I have this chart that shows the natal positions and it can progress to any date thereafter or even project planetary positions in the future but I don't know how to use it or interpret it.
Anyway, I did a bit of reading on the natal positions of the planets that are located in the 12th house as it seems there is such a cluster of things located there compared to the rest of the chart.
Basically, you're right as everything I read pegs me as a person who keeps things to herself, would prefer to serve others for benefit (although it can frustrate me at times and I get sick of getting burned for most of the time) and specifically named places such as hospitals as a a type of place where I would prefer working and mentioned an intrigue for the sciences as well as seeking out the spiritual side of things in most if not all things. I try to mask the latter well in our left brained world, though. Intuitive? Nah, that belong in the 'keeps things to herself category'. Just when I thought may get comfortable discussing things I decided I was wrong - not very intuitive, eh? :o

I am quite artistic and a bit of a space cadet, I am always leaving the house without keys, money, bank card etc.

Relationship astrology or synastry is pretty interesting, you really can't go by Sun sign alone, I was engaged to a Scorpio once, it ended very very badly :(

Not really, I get on with them but they bore me, just a generalization based on ones ive met im sure theres some id get along well with that have a strong air or fire influence.
Im surprised the scorpio thing ended badly the pisces/scorp relationships ive seen the pisces is always in the scorpios pocket so to speak, really shows thier mutable sensitive side bieng around them, seem to get on well apart from the typical biting scorpio remarks. Which seems to work in a 'treat em mean, keep em keen' kind of way.

I get on well as Scorpios as friends, but they are too opinionated and inflexible in relationships - I also had a fling lasting a few months with one and to be honest, that too was a horrible mistake. The biting remarks of both the Scorps and the rather toxic attitude was another thing I couldn't handle, and the possesiveness, I just got bored ion the end, but I would not tar all Scrrops with the same brush, a couple of good friends are Scorpios and they are absolute smashers!
My partner now is the nicest bloke I have ever been in a relationship with, we don't really argue either, we are both easy going and give each other plenty of space to be ourselves and we talk about everything.
He is a Gemini, so by all rights it should be a disaster, but then I have a strong fire influence with Leo rising, Venus in Aries and Moon in Sagitarrius, so this would make us much more compatible, his Mars and Moon are in Pisces too conjunct with my Sun.
Geminis are great, no? I always seem to have Geminis as good friends well before I know their sign.

Think you're getting confused, people dont have thier own 'fire sign', but leo is a fire sign. Each sign is either water/earth/air/fire. It just means you have the same fire sign twice in your chart, possibly more.
