actually it was more a 'i told you he was an arsehole' type thread....i guess i should have elaborated in my first post, cus he gave a long speech in cairo about a month or so ago where he was 'strengthening ties' with the arab world and praising them for all the stuff they do bla bla bla, and i was surprised to see a lot of folk i know quite happy to hear his words, everyone thought i was a pesimist and i should have hope for the future etc, but from the start i'd tell people, the american president is the american president, nice guys don't get to the top, people thht stand for morals and justice dont get to the top etc....the political system wont allow it, its physically impossible.....i guess this is just tangible evidence for the doubters and for the masses; that one must kneel to the powers that be in order to get places (if u wana call it getting places)....

The office of President or Prime Minister is totally irrelevant. I remember a moron being interviewed on the BBC when Obama was inagurated(spelt wrong prob) and she was so happy that everything was gonna change.
