I've seen the 2nd video before. Very impressive.
Seems to me the guy wanted to show some more of his skill but I think some ancestral guilt was weighing him down.
We never see these skills on show in the general media or is never widely publicised or poo pooed, probably because its secret esoteric teachings and also because the PTB don't want us to awaken this latent power in all of us.
Can't have kids running around setting fire to things with the power of there internal combustion engines now can we?
I can attest to the power of chi and prana having meditated for a long time and practising wing chun kung fu. The chi palm technique is my favourite.
One can build up some serious electrostatic charge when practised regularly. I get shocks off things on a regular basis especially off metal surfaces(obviously).

Well said :)
There is an infinite sea of potential energy all around us we just need to learn how to start tapping into it.There are many techniques but I think that meditation is one of the best ways to get you going. The great thing about meditation is no one can stop you from doing it

I don't know about meditating anywhere, I once tried to meditate in my car parked near a farmers field. 15 mins later as I was slipping into a nice theta state, this geezer from the farm started banging on my window. Scared the shit out of me. I wound the window down, and he says to me 'What are you doin laddie?'.
I was still feeling groggy so I just drove off. Later thinking, I bet he thought I was gonna commit suicide or summat.:D
They should be teaching meditation in schools. It would put a stop to a lot of kiddy and teenage problems like stabbings and wot not.
I read a story yonks ago about some TM meditators meditating in San Francisco in the 1970s. Apparently the crime rate went down dramatically. People were generally nicer to each other.
Now that sort of power is sure to scare the shit out of the PTB.

I am old and arthritic and so the lotus position is beyond my capabilities;)
From what I have read, I have concluded that meditation is overrrated, and the enlightenment can be achieved just as well by 'silent sitting'.
With practice, you can rid your mind of any thoughts other being 'emptyness'.
I found these videos very helpful

Well meditation could be classed as silent sitting. Coz I'm silent and I'm usually sat down when meditating.
If you have never experienced a true meditative state you would think it was over-rated.
Meditation has to be experienced not read about.
I thought sex was over-rated when I was 16 when reading about other folks experiences. I'm glad I was proved wrong on that matter.;)
You don't have to sit in elaborate poses to meditate, you can do it equally well sat in your favourite chair.
That video doesn't really impress me, meditation is an individual thing, you don't need a guru, you trust yourself and your own self-knowledge.
