View Full Version : Where did I get these ideas???

Hi,

I'm new on this forum. I wanted to make a post about something that has been bothering me for a while because I can't figure out how something like it would come about.

I've always been writing stories and drawing fictional characters since I was a young child. Well, when I was 15 (9 years ago) I came up with an idea for a comic book that I never drew, but just last year I decided to start working on the comic. I realized that it was much too long to finish at my pace so this year I began it again as an illustrated novel. The idea began small at first, but after 9 years (several years of break in between) it grew into a complex, epic series.

The thing that is bothering me is this. Last year, when I had pretty much finished the entire story outline and had all the ideas down, I heard for the first time about many alien conspiracy theories. I remember that I had been listening to a band called Hanzel und Gretyl, the album "Transmissions From Uranus" and I thought, wow, these lyrics sound so much like my story! I looked up the lyrics for the songs "9D Galactic Center" and "Mutant Starseed Creation" and also "Pleiadian Agenda" simply because I was curious what a "Pleiadian" was. And when I did I found all about channelings and alien conspiracy theories as well, I found that they had elements that SOUNDED EXACTLY LIKE MY STORY. Without me have ever been hearing about them, nor had I at the time introduced myself into very much sci-fi (Star Wars was pretty much the only one at the time).

In fact, these conspiracy theories/ ideas/ channelings/etc.- I'm talking about David Icke, Zacharia Sitchin, and others- had elements that sounded SO much like my story that I was FREAKED out. In fact, I actually became extremely discouraged because I thought, damn it, now I sound like I'm copying my story ideas from these conspiracy theories!!! I actually throught that I had come up with a unique idea, and now it was all ruined. Haha! That only lasted for a short while, as I love my characters too much to abandon them. They're very real to me. There was a time that I had been working on the story SO much, visualizing it all the time, that I kind of became out of tune with "reality." Like I was living my story. I still live my story, every time I work on it. Also, I grew extremely obsessed with aliens and conspiracies surrounding them. Now I can't stop reading about it all! It all began with similarities to my story but it seems to have become more than that. (However, I'm still not sure which things to believe in at all, I'm rather skeptic, and yet I'm still interested.)

But anyway, without giving away too much, here are some of the ideas I had come up with on my own without ever hearing anything about Reptilians, or Annunaki, or Pleiadians, or channeling, or any of that type of stuff:

Aliens seeding human life on a planet.

Aliens genetically engineering/altering human DNA.

Gods and angels and demons in scriptures as actually have been those aliens.

Aliens creating ancient civilizations on a planet that humans then ruled over later on.

Aliens speaking to humans through telepathy while remaining unseen; also, speaking in a certain way (I can't really explain) that is typical of channelings- my aliens speak in a similar manner.

Deceptive interdimensional parasites attached to a human body, controlling them, becoming them. (Reptilians)

A royal bloodline with alien DNA ruling over a planet (Reptilians)

This royal bloodline having golden/yellow eyes that are a bit slanted, giving them a snake-like appearance (Reptilians)

Some nordic-looking humanoid aliens with pale white skin to tanned, and white or blue hair (Pleiadians and others)

Human-looking alien children sent to Earth not knowing they're aliens (Starseeds)

Living orbs of light that are conscious and loving (the only ones I had heard of before I came up with this were the ones that appear above crop circles)

I honestly don't know *where* I got the majority of my ideas. Most of the time they just pop into my head out of nowhere, or are inspired by things that are a lot different (ie. Harry Potter, Sailor Moon, and things like that, haha).

Also, when I was as young as ten or so, maybe younger, I invented a fictional island in the north Atlantic, that had a whole other race of humans with their own culture, and strange creatures. And I certainly didn't know anything about Atlantis at the time! Then, in my teens, I turned it into an underwater civilization for some reason… not to mention, I had begun some other stories in my teens about alternative universes and dimensions, with non-Earth humans- and it didn’t even occur to me at the time that they were “aliens”, because they looked human!

And one more thing... something I just learned a few weeks ago. A friend of mine had an epic sci-fi dream, spanning at least three nights, each sequence being weeks, months, or years apart, that involved human-looking invaders from Mars, alien warlords, her as a chosen one, orbs, mind powers- all kinds of stuff and yet she didn't have any interest in anything fantasy or sci-fi, then or now, and has no idea how she dreamt up such things!!! Also, she had a girl in her dream with violet eyes, and the main girl of my story has violet eyes too... huh. Not to mention that she had never heard of any of these conspiracy theories or ideas, nor did she even know that I was interested in them. :P

So, what are anyone's thoughts on this? Is it ALL just coincidence? Did I tap into the creative collective consciousness? Or is it something more?! Something... sending ideas into my mind, wanting me to create this story for some reason?! o_o Memories of a past life?! Could it be the same with my friend, could we be connected?! Who knows... it all sounds rather silly (I don't exactly tell people I know about all this), and yet here it all is, happening before my eyes...

Btw, I'm also one of those people who sees number patterns a lot, ie. 11:11, except I see :33 way more, sometimes almost every hour on the hour. (This creeped me out at first because it made me think of Freemasonry, but I've come to accept it as a good sign, because I tend to only see these numbers when I am in a positive state, not negative, and when I am being creative or reading/listening to spiritual or alien related things.) I’ve also heard weird voices saying random cryptic things in my mind or getting totally random images in my head since I was about 17, possibly earlier (not all the time, just every once in a while). And I've been getting some other very strange synchronicities/coincidences, and psychic experiences (telepathy, predictions). I don't know if that's connected to my story at all... haha!

- Liz

(P.S. my uncle used to call me "Lizard" and "Elizardbeth" when I was little, and I hated it! I hope I'm not a Reptilian, hahahaha! Also, I won't say my surname here but it's linked to an old royal family... uh-oh!!! xD Just for the record, I don't shape-shift or drink blood. xD)

I’ve experienced a similar thing…During the early 1990’s I began to have dreams that I couldn’t explain (alien craft / creatures and unknown technology etc) so I began writing a story which I still add onto every now and again…The story (kind of a novel now) is for my own personal entertainment only and it will remain that way however the characters that I’ve created are like family…My story always make me warm and fuzzy when I go back to it….I’ve also realised that the technology I typed about almost twenty years ago is now available to buy or is in the pipeline for a future release date and therefore my story often feels like it’s a copy…Very déjà vu-ish but that doesn’t matter because I’m just happy to sit back and watch parts of the real story unfold like the fictional one…:)

I also often wonder where the unusual ideas from my actual dreams come from. It’s puzzling for me because I’ve always been an absent minded low achiever in life who never reads books (May-be just the occasional newspaper head-lines some years ago) so my only influence back then could only have been attained from watching TV. However blaming TV doesn’t explain how I was dreaming about certain things before they were known publicly…So I’m still not sure where my ideas arise from but I wonder if I’m tapping into something that’s just too bizarre to fathom?

Re/ Mars, aliens, orbs, 11:11…Ditto!

yep , done that , been there ,

writing or creating inventions and then to have it shown in my face on the TV screen or hear it on the radio .

Same here.

When I was about 10 I wrote and illustrated a three-part sci-fi series (The Missing Link, The Second Coming, The Big Bang), about a race of aliens who colonised earth and enslaved the primitive humans.

The main characters were Gor and God, two brothers amongst the ruling aliens who fought a battle between good and evil over the human race (their bases were inside volcanoes :p ).

20 years later when I first read about the Annunaki brothers Enki and Enlil I was shocked by the similarity to what I'd written blind all those years earlier.

I remember writing what I thought was a great story, I was 11 at the time and all proud of it I turned it in to my English teacher and she said it was crap, basically never tried writing a story from then on. Fucking teachers, one harsh or non encouraging word can go a long way to stifle talent, then again I could just have been shit at it, but I refuse to believe that :D

You got those ideas from the collective consciousness who have been reading about it on the net now for a while and so has reached a critical mass.

The idea of aliens seeding earth and genetic manipulation and that they are actually the Gods is all useless information it doesnt answer anything and those who think the aliens are the Gods have an extremely limited or distorted view of God.

For example so what if aliens seeded the earth.. who seeded the aliens?

All this information related to dna and extra strands and so on is a materialistic mind set trying to fathom its guaranteed salvation via a materialistic method such as "if only I can activate my dormant dna strands"

Its all just extensions of materialism.

Read Carl Jung to understand where you got these ideas from.

That is true, how many times have you had an idea and not acted upon it then in a couple of months someone comes out with your idea?

There is a collective consciousness (aether) and many people get ideas and thoughts that are the same and at the same time too, there is always someone else who is on your biological wavelength.

Bruce Lipton has some extremely new theories on DNA well its not really a theory as he is a biologist and has basically proved that DNA is subject to its environment. It receives its information through the cell membrane which acts like an antenna. You can carry this into the holographic or fractal nature too, our membrane ie the skin or 5 senses or even our perception of reality are all antennas for our DNA to either do or not do according to how we translate the environment.

Take it even further and we are the DNA of the planet which is like a cell and the Ozone is like the cell membrane, the environment of the planet dictates what we can and cannot do, if the environment changes for the planet ie something like a solar flare then the effect it has on the membrane also affects us.

So really to activate your dormant DNA to get the best out of it, you have to be where you want to be, many of us are clearly not doing what we want to do or even where we want to be.

Your DNA does not determine who you are in any way, the reason we are like our parents is because we grow up in the same environment as our parents, even if we move away from home at an early age we are still using the teachings and psychological mindsets of our parents, so we are taking that environment with us.

I love how "Scientists" conveniently call 90% of undiscovered DNA "Junk DNA", maybe because we are only getting about 10% of the potential out of life than we should, same thing for brain usage.

I wonder if people who are genuinely artistic and creative have more brain activity than a person chained to a 9 to 5 job they hate, up to their neck in bills?

Yet the manipulators of our environment have us believe this is the only thing to ascend too. Which, and forgive me for going out on a limb here, is absolute bullshit and a waste of life and everything that goes with it.

So if you have the slightest inkling to be creative then waste no time, do it. Do not start saying "oh I need this" or "I need that" or "Maybe tomorrow or this weekend", Just goddamn DO IT!

To change "you" you have to change what "You" do.

DNA produces proteins that is its ONLY function, like a hammer, hammers nails DNA makes proteins. The information in the DNA is information pertaining to protein production and the majority of so called junk DNA is information on the receiver of the DNA.

Now if a hammer just started hammering nails it would make a mess so there needs to be a blueprint of a design and a hand to control the hammer likewise DNA needs to be instructed by... You who holds the bluebrint and directs your DNA to create your body, this is why all illness lies in its root of consciousness.

So DNA is not the holy grail and DNA does not contain this huge amount of information on how to build a human body like they would have you believe in order to suck you into a materialistic view.

This topic really fascinates me. Maybe we really are one big mind, and each individual is like a neuron, bouncing ideas back and forth to each other. I always hear of people getting ideas, only realizing that someone else did it already (which is kind of sad, although each individual’s variation upon it is always different, which is good). I do think that maybe psychic phenomena works that way- maybe we’re constantly sending wavelengths to each others’ brains without even realizing it. Who knows what we’re picking up and from where?! Looking back, I realized that I probably got a lot of inspiration from anime. Sailor Moon, Tenchi Muyo, and Dragonballz were some that I watched obsessively, and those all had alien humans with special powers. Anime is full of characters from other worlds and magical powers… I had also been a huge Star Wars fan in my preteens, and in high school I loved the movie Contact. I also loved the book A Wrinkle in Time (which involves higher dimensions) which I read in 5th grade, and Narnia, which also takes place in an alternate universe. (I also remember having an epic sci-fi dream about parallel universes when I was in junior high!) Those could have all led to my story evolving into one with otherworldly humans with special powers. But as for some of the ideas, I have no idea how they got to be so similar to the conspiracy theories. The royal family ruling the planet stemmed from me wanting there to be a dictatorship in my story. I remember that I loved dystopian fiction starting in high school- Brave New World, 1984, Fahrenheit 451… I had also heard about the New World Order conspiracy and liked it as a concept for my story (but I hadn’t done too much research on it.) So somehow, all my personal interests embodied alien conspiracy theories. And I didn’t create this story overnight… the telepathic alien parasite idea came when I was 15, but most of the other ones didn’t come until I was out of high school. (I know for a fact that I began finishing my story’s outline, the majority of my inspiration came from song lyrics.) It’s really strange how it all came together, and it’s interesting how much your subconscious retains without you realizing it. I rather like having a bit of mystery behind it. :)

To danster82: I wasn't talking about my personal belief system, I was talking about ideas I got for my *fictional* story in comparison to *conspiracy theories.* I don't believe that aliens are God. If anything, the fact that I have people in my story that believe in "gods" recorded in their scriptures that were actually aliens is a comment on how silly organized religion is, if anything. Also, my story idea had been "aliens seeding human life on a planet", not "on Earth." I forgot to mention that they were being used as slaves in my idea (they had been taken from Earth to another planet, which I realize now is similar to the movie Stargate, which I saw long after I got this idea… :o However, that is also similar to the whole Sitchin/Annunaki deal).

To relax: There’s too many to mention, really!
Voices: Starting in high school, I began noticing all this random noise in my head, especially before I went to sleep. I thought at the time that I was picking up radio signals or something, because that’s what it was like! Random pieces of peoples’ conversations, pieces of things that sounded like news or radio broadcasts, and sentences that didn’t make any sense whatsoever. I never found any explanation for it (which made me feel like I was insane), until I heard David Wilcock say that if you’re hearing cryptic messages in your head then it might be your higher self trying to contact you… so I began writing the messages down, and when I actually listen, more of it starts to come, and it starts becoming more coherent! I’ve actually gotten some pretty good advice from “myself” this way. :D

Psychic phenomena: I’ve had telepathic experiences in the past, for example, not hearing a song for over a year, then having it appear in my head, then hearing it on the radio a few minutes later, or reading a friend’s or family member’s mind (or vice versa). But these things happened few and far between. Then, all of a sudden, this year, as I began “awakening” to all this new, alternative information… I was having some kind of synchronicity or psychic phenomena nearly every single day! I keep knowing seconds to a minute beforehand when I’m going to get text messages or phone calls from my mom. My husband and I are constantly reading each other’s mind, although it’s always be accident. We’ve had some pretty funny synchronicities together. One day last month, we were walking outside, and we decided we wanted ice cream. Seconds later, we hear an ice cream truck turning the corner, heading our way. Then, less than half an hour later, we were both commenting on how hot it got, and a sprinkler randomly shoots off in front of us, spraying us with cool water. :D Also, two years before, we were walking in a mall, and we pass right by a friend of his from his home country. Another example: One night, we were walking, and I began noticing what I thought was a star beginning to move across the sky. I began watching it, wondering if it were a satellite or possible something else. The moment I stopped to watch it, a low-flying shooting star passed down right in front of us, and we both saw it. The thing is, I’ve never seen a shooting star in my entire life in the light-polluted area in which I’ve always lived. This was the first one I ever saw, and I only saw it because I stopped right at that precise moment and turned in the correct direction. Then, of course, there’s always the number synchronicities. Those are the most frequent, I see them pretty much every day. There have been days where I’ve seen almost every triple/quadruple-digit number on the clock despite having only looking at the clock at those particular times and none in between. There have been days where I saw :33 nearly every hour on the hour. I have questioned it several times before, and it never ceased to catch me off guard, over and over and over, until I had to stopped questioning it because at that point, the odds that it was totally random just flew out the window. The list for this goes on and on.

Quick question: Does anyone know the significance, if any, of the number “949”? I keep seeing that one on the clock too, constantly, for months, and I looked it up but can’t find anything on it. Maybe it’s just a number that personally resonates with me??

To branjo: The reason that I’ve waited so long to work on my comic-turned-illustrated-novel is because I had school all those years… high school, then 4-year university. Then I graduated and got a crappy minimum wage job because of the economy. My mom fortunately supports my art and says not to worry about working 9-5, so I’ve been juggling painting and writing in the past year, however I still do need to work because I have a student loan to pay off (from a degree that hasn’t gotten me anywhere). I do think it’s very sad that so many people have creative potential that they don’t get to use because they’re stuck in dead-end jobs.

i agree with the collective consciousness idea and that we pick up ideas from the "nowhere"
all my ideas i didnt push tru kicked me in the ass later
i could have been a multimiljonair if i just had created my thoughts/inventions

but lets not forget the influence of tv
if you are about my age 30 you would have seen in youre younger days

stuff like V and gijoe and that cartoon with aliens riding dino's and stuff
there s a lot of this info hidden / revealed in movies and cartoons wheter this is onconscious or deleberate i dont know

maybe you picked up from these things and fordgot that u knew it??

mmmhummm. i've had weird things happen, too. stuff that i just know and there is no explanation for. like this:
i laid down to take a nap before going to work one evening. i slept a bit and woke up with strange things going in my head and words i had never heard before in my life.....i swear it! secondary molecular structures. i swear on all that is holy, that i never heard of it before in my life or have any understanding whatsoever. i have no idea where it came from other than out of the blue. mind boggling.
