In China, Uighurs pour into streets as toll rises
Tue, 07 Jul 2009 06:46:18 GMT

picRiot police -- armed with rifles and tear gas -- attempted to disperse protesters who responded by sitting on the ground in defiance of police prodding.

Hundreds of Uighurs poured into the streets of Urumqi to protest against mass arrests made following deadly ethnic unrest in the western Chinese city.

At least 200 people -- mostly elderly women and women with children -- staged a demonstration in Urumqi and faced off against police on Tuesday, claiming that their relatives had been arrested arbitrarily.

By Tuesday morning, Chinese police had arrested at least 1,434 people in connection with the Sunday riots, which has so far left 156 people dead and over 800 others wounded.

Protesters told foreign reporters, who were taken to the area by government officials to witness the damage caused by Sunday's violence, that those who were arrested had no role in the unrest.

There are conflicting reports about what sparked the deadly clashes in the mainly Muslim region of Xinjiang. While some blame ethnic Muslim Uighurs for the violence, others suggest that it was the Chinese police who started the unrest by attacking a peaceful protest against racial violence in southern China.

The violence reportedly started at a factory in Guangdong province, where two Uighurs were killed in a massive brawl between workers of Uighur and Han nationalities.

Meanwhile, Chinese officials say they have evidence that proves the violence to have been instigated by foreign countries, namely the United States.

According to China's official Xinhua news agency, police accuse the Washington-based separatist World Uighur Congress -- led by exiled Rebiya Kadeer -- of being behind the design for the unrest.

Human rights group Amnesty International has called on China to "fully account" for the deaths of those killed in the riots, adding that China must also explain its mass detention.

These problems were obviously caused by CIA meddlers. No way would the peaceful regime of China do such things to their own people, and no way would such people living in a paradise of freedom like China is protest without outside influence.

Do you have a clue what you're talking about?

The province in question is enormous with a small population of 19 million. There were only half a million ethnic Han Chinese settlers in Xinjiang in 1953 which has since risen to 7.5 million by 2000.

This is fact number one of human existence for you?

What a sad person you are.

Clearly not a Christian.

Fact 1 of human existence.

When one elitist clique dominates the rest, they and their lickspittles will use divide and rule to enable the few to rule the many.

Okay! :)

I thought you were sticking up for the Chinese and blaming everything on the wicked muslims!

The Uighars seem to be headed down the same road as the Tibetans. :(

I do think the CIA will be meddling as usual.

Uighur Ethnic Violence Linked to Police & Justice Civil Rights Violations...

Ethnic Clash In Guangdong. Liveleak Live - Current Event

CLOSE [X]
Amateur Video,Text From Source (France24 Observers) : It all started after an incident in a toy factory on 26 June in Shaoguan, Guangdong province.

The authorities decided to send young Uighur labourers to work in factories in the centre of the country. They said it was to raise our living standards. But for the Uighurs, the policy is perceived as a kind of forced migration, a cultural genocide More... Especially since, at the beginning, they were only recruiting young unmarried women.

Nearly 800 Uighurs were working in this toy factory in Shaoguan. One evening, the Hans came to beat them up . There were a lot of rumours about the reason for the tensions between the two communities.

People say, for example, though it’s not confirmed, that a Han raped a Uighur girl. But what is certain is that the Hans don’t appreciate the Uighurs taking their jobs. We see the way in which the Uighurs were beaten up on the video.

According to the authorities, two people were killed that evening, but we think there were more than that.

The Uighurs of Xinjiang didn’t react at first. They were waiting for the authorities to punish those responsible. But when they realised that nothing had been done, they organized a demonstration in Urumqi [the regional capital of Xinjiang]. According to the witness accounts that I’ve heard, the demo was peaceful. The Uighurs had even brought out red Chinese flags to show that it wasn’t a demo in favour of independence.

I am not surprised to see that the official Chinese media have only showed images of Han victims. It’s always like that; we saw the same thing during the riots in Tibet.

They control the information. Since this morning, for example, the telephone lines have been cut off, I can no longer get hold of anyone in my family. They also blocked the Internet and closed Uighur sites, for example Xjtsnews, which is actually the official site of the region"

July 2009 Ürümqi riots - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Uyghur American Association (UAA) condemns in the strongest possible terms the mob killing of two Uyghur workers and the injuring of many, mostly female, workers at a toy factory in Guangdong Province in the early morning hours of Friday, June 26. According to official Chinese media, a massive mob attack at a factory in the city of Shaoguan on June 26 left two Uyghur workers dead and 118 workers injured. According to some news reports, the majority of the injured were Uyghurs. At least 16 people were seriously injured, and reports stated that 60 workers were still receiving treatment in the hospital on Sunday, June 28.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that more Uyghurs were killed in the attack than the two reported in the official media. In addition, according to a report posted on a Shaoguan government website that has now been taken down, 81 Uyghur workers were injured, 66 of whom were in critical condition in the hospital.

UAA is extremely concerned about the Chinese government’s failure to protect factory workers, in particular Uyghurs, from violent attacks. Adding to this concern are unverified reports that local security forces did not take an active role in stopping the violence. UAA is also concerned over reports that Chinese workers were able to raid the dormitories of Uyghur workers.
“Uyghurs have suffered for years under racial profiling and unjust government policies that have painted the entire Uyghur population as criminals and terrorists. The official media has published propaganda of Uyghurs as backward and violent, and members of the three evil forces of terrorism, separatism and extremism,” said Uyghur democracy leader Rebiya Kadeer. “As a people, Uyghurs only seek prosperity and the ability to raise their families in a secure environment. The Shaoguan incident shows that official policies, together with mob rule and fear, have prevented Uyghurs from simply being able to live their lives in peace.”

The riot at the Xuri Toy Factory, owned by Hong Kong tycoon Francis Choi, was reportedly started after rumors were spread among Han Chinese factory workers that Uyghur men working at the factory had harassed Chinese female workers. Some reports indicate the existence of rumors that Uyghur men had sexually molested Chinese female workers. These allegations remain unverified and unsubstantiated.

According to a report from the official Xinhua News Agency, a man surnamed Zhu fabricated the rape allegations to express his discontent after failing to get re-hired after quitting his job at the factory. Guangdong authorities have said they have found no evidence that ethnic Uyghur laborers had raped two Chinese women.

Reuters reported that around 400 riot police were deployed to quell the unrest among workers, some of whom reportedly fought with knives and metal pipes.

UAA is concerned that long-standing government policies discriminating against Uyghurs have perpetuated stereotypes of Uyghurs that may have given a green light to rioters acting out of anger and based on unsubstantiated allegations. UAA believes these types of policies and stereotypes likely fueled the violence that was carried out against Uyghurs at the factory during the riot.

“The perpetrators in the Shaoguan incident should be dealt with according to the law,” said Ms. Kadeer. “However, due to a lack of transparency in China, we may never know the true details of what transpired.”

Xinhua reported that the Hong Kong-invested factory had recruited 800 migrant workers (according to other reports, this number is 600) in May and June through the labor authorities of Shufu (Kona Sheher) County in East Turkestan.

It is unclear how this group of Uyghur workers was transferred to Guangdong Province. However, since 2006, Chinese government authorities have aggressively recruited Uyghurs, primarily young Uyghur women and girls, from southern areas of East Turkestan to work in factories in eastern China. Kona Sheher County, located near the city of Kashgar, is among those areas specifically targeted by the transfer policy. This area of East Turkestan has a majority-Uyghur population that has served as a stronghold for Uyghur culture and traditions. Under the transfer policy, local leaders, under intense pressure from higher-level officials, have used intimidation, deception and threats to force women to participate in the program. Many young women have reported extremely oppressive working conditions and living arrangements, as well as garnished wages, medical ailments caused by working conditions and a lack of medical treatment at the factories they are sent to.

At the same time that PRC authorities are implementing a transfer policy of young women out of East Turkestan in the name of providing economic opportunities, they are also supporting the movement of huge numbers of Han Chinese economic migrants into the region, and providing these migrants with employment, housing and healthcare.

As documented by UAA, Chinese authorities are actively seeking to recruit applicants from other areas of the PRC to work in the state sector in East Turkestan. Prominent Uyghur economist Ilham Tohti recently called upon authorities in East Turkestan to promote equal development between Han migrants and native Uyghurs in East Turkestan. Earlier this year, Tohti cited joblessness as the single greatest problem facing Uyghurs.

UAA calls on the Chinese government to conduct a thorough investigation of the Shaoguan incident and bring the perpetrators of violence to justice. UAA urges the Chinese government to compensate the families of the two Uyghurs killed and those injured in the violence. In addition, UAA calls on the Chinese government to immediately stop the transfer of young Uyghur women out of East Turkestan and allow the return of these women to their homes.

The CIA doesnt always start the fire.

Sometimes they take those natural fires another poster spoke of, and just stoke them.

It can be done so in an ends justify the means fashion.
Of course its a lie just like anytime they use this logic.

As far as is it/isnt it a black op......

There is no real way to know so far.

For me it's more like......the smart bet is it was western/british intell.
That doesnt always mean it's true though, just whats most likely.

One would really have to be there, on the ground to venture what is reallly going on. There are so many variables is not possible to calculate who is really in charge.

Getting the world rid of small fire weapons is a good and achivable goal. They make long-distance murder far too easy.

The Pan-Turkic Connection to the Unrest in China

Christopher Jon Bjerknes

For years now, I have been warning the World of the re-emergence of the Pan-Turk / Pan-Turanian Movement, which was promulgated by the Hungarian Jewish Rothschild agent Arminius Vambery as a means to chase the Turkish Empire eastward out of Palestine and into Russia, China and India. The Jews, through Disraeli and other agents, were constantly manufacturing wars at the time between Russia and Turkey. Vambery appeared in the East sometime between the Rothschild manufactured Crimean War and the Rothschild manufactured Russo-Turk War, which produced the Treaty of Berlin that ultimately spelled the doom of the Armenians.

The Uighurs are identified by Pan-Turk proponents as members of the community. Erkin Alptekin published Uygur Turkleri in 1978, which criticizes the Soviets and the Communist Chinese for their treatment of the Uighurs.

I believe the Pan-Turkic Movement, led by Doenmeh crypto-Jews in Turkey, Azerbaijan, and elsewhere, is behind the recent agitations in China. Just as when the Rothschilds moved on the Armenians' ancient homelands in Baku in the last quarter of the 19th Century by creating Pan-Turkic mythology and inflaming the passions of the Turks; the Jews of today are inflaming Pan-Turkic sentiment to bring the Turks, Russians and Chinese into unnecessary conflict yet again.

The recent energy deals which side step Armenia and Russia are also in part Pan-Turkic agitations originating in World Jewry. The Jews will not rest until they have destroyed Armenia and they have near complete control over Armenian leadership, who recently betrayed the Armenians in cooperation with the Doenmeh who rule Turkey, and Jewish agent Barack Obama.

World war is coming, and Jewish manufactured Pan-Turkism will play a major rule in fomenting it.
