Ok, so this is waaay off of the normal topic, but I thought some of you might really like it. In case nobody heard; was recently a documentary made about piracy, and copyright laws. It's called "Good Copy Bad Copy".
Now, what's really great about it, is that the creators have let it be put on The Pirate Bay (http://thepiratebay.com) for free download.
I just watched it, and thought it was great. It had a begining interview with Girl Talk (musician) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and even an interview with the guys from The Pirate Bay themselves!! Plus a small interview with DJ Danger Mouse(did anyone else hear The Grey Album?).

There's the link for the movie. Really, it's a great documentary for this subject and it looks at it for both sides. However, I still side with the pirates and the CC(Creative Commons) peoples.
Do you think Mr. Icke will ever put his work onto Creative Commons licenses?

Watching...
I heard Elton John hates the internet...He would rather have just a few Gods of music rather than many musicians playing to smaller audiences who have exactly the music that they like and if not, they can make their own.

Fuck Elton John, seriously.
What I like about some sample artists. Ok, I'll admit, it doesn't sound like it's all that creative. I can understand that. But what I find great, is if they can make it sound good. Like, that DJ I mentioned earlier, Girl Talk. He has this song "Smash your Head in", I can catch some samples of Nirvana in there, but allot of rap too. And in my opinion, it's actually pretty good.
You have to be good in order to put Nirvana and rap together.

Speaking of musical talent, there's this metal band, from JAPAN!
Of all places where metal can come from, this band called "Maximum the Hormone". They have a song called "What's up people", it's the beginning song for the anime DeathNote.
Funny enough, I think it's actually pretty good. This Japanese can grunt. Maybe not the bet in the world, but pretty good for a country that makes absolutely no grunters..

It's pretty cool. It basically is Jay-Z's Black Album, but with the music is from The Beatles the White Album. But it is pretty good. There's a music video to one of the songs..

It's funny watching the music industry squerm...At the moment they are just going more and more manufactured. I can imagine the only way forward is the death of these bands and then there will emerge real artists and people will fund them because they support them.

I think the better future of music is to let the music be downloaded from the bands site, OR! allow one or two tracks be downloaded, with the cd's being given to local verdures so that they can make money. Most of the money for the artist comes from the shows already. It will be great!
Atleast, I feel.
