Ok, so there's this new video on youtube showing pink blobs in a sewer, which are very strange indeed. Are they fake? Are they some students CGI project which copies Ghost Busters pink slime, or the Blob?
Could be real.

Von Heltons review:

In the first videos description, it says:
Bryozoans are tiny colonial animals that generally build stony skeletons of calcium carbonate. Members of the Phylum bryozoa are known as moss animals or moss animacules are also known as sea mats. They generally prefer warm, tropical waters, but are known to occur worldwide. They've also been observed to exist in sewer systems, examples being Denver and North Carolina. There are about 8,000 living species, with several times that number of fossil forms known.
Well, if you google image search for Bryozoans, you don't see anything like the ones in the video. Maybe they are still growing parts, and just look like blobs in the video. I dunno.

That looks like something out of a sci-fi flick. Disgusting! We've probably created a new lifeform out of all the drugs we drain away :p Someone take a sample and we'll find out its immune to every disease on the planet.
Seriously though, wth is that? They look like worms in a ball maybe.

Yep that's what it is, a colony of worms.

'Alien' in sewer turns out to be worms
Pulsating blobs filmed in a North Carolina sewer prompting speculation they were an 'alien' lifeform have been identified as worms.

The slimy sacs were filmed clinging to the crevices of a sewer and shying away from the light as a camera was passed along the pipes.
Footage of the creatures was posted on YouTube leading to speculation that an alien creature was living in the sewers of Raleigh, reports the Daily Telegraph.
The clip has attracted more than four million hits but now biolgists have confirmed the blobs are a colony of worms coiled together.
Ed Buchan, environmental coordinator at the Raleigh Public Utilities Department, confirmed the 'creature' was actually a colony of worms.
The colonies attach themselves to roots that gradually work themselves into weak points in the pipes.
"They seem to respond to the light from the camera," he said. "That light is pretty hot."
The film was made by a construction firm which had been contracted to carry out a survey of the state of the sewer system.
"We were asked by our client to inspect the sewer lines, which were built in 1949," a spokeswoman from Malphrus Construction said.
"Because the sewers are so old there were many infrastructure issues."

...Seriously,life seems to form in weird plces and even the most harshest of
enviornments...even bacteria, unknown strains...have been found at the bottom of Nuclear Reactors...after hearing that...I would'nt be surprised there's some form of life, existing within the Sun itself...no matter how much is defies our classifications...regards.
