Hi everyone, sorry to be a pain in the bum, but i am interested in making my own Orgonite and what to get it right from the word go without wasting oney of buying the wrong items to make it.......
Would it be possible for anyone to list me the items of everything what i need unless you have a link which will tell me the correct info as to what is required :)
I guess instructions on how to actually make it would be handy, but i think i have seen a book somewhere for this purpose :)
Apologies for appearing lazy asking for the info, but i am wanting to get the right info from the start from people with the experience who produce such lovely pieces:)
best wishes
phil
Hi .You need aluminum shavings from a metal work shop or scrap yard , other metals are okay to but aluminum is mainly used .Quartz crystals pointed called terminated . you can get single points or double ones . You can also add other crystals , use intuition to guide you thats best . You can get crystal chips from places like ebay to add . You need decent molds to set the orgonite in .Also ebay for silicone molds , IE muffin trays etc for coaster type pieces or deeper ones . Polyester resin and hardener . On line shops or craft model making shops are good suppliers .I used boat resin and it didn't set very well. Learning from mistakes . Also a spray lubricant , i read you can use WD40 . Apart from gloves mask etc i think thats about it . very simple really we just complicate things or are a bit wary of doing something new until we get a feel for it .
So heres what you need listed for convenience
Polyester resin and hardener .
Aluminum shavings .
quartz point crystal .
Crystal chips if you want .
A decent set of molds .martini glasses are good .
Gloves and mask .
A decent area outdoors or well ventilated to use .
spray lubricant for molds .
Goggle making orgonite lots on you tube .
also lots of info in this forum in bible girls thread about orgonite . Lots of people here making it so ask for tips .Hope this helps :D

Copper coils spirals are energy transformers in themselves . The sapiral form and the copper act as transmitters as far as im aware . Some say the coils are not needed but its up top you what you feel is right . Personallyi like them . I bought an S shaped coil maker from rich He used it in his latest chakra pieces you can see in the main orgonite thread .I intendto use it soon as i can get more resin :D
Heres a link to the guy who makes them , not sure if he still does though .

And some more coil info

Hey dude, it's an SBB (saint busters button) coil form, the Chakra pieces I did are done by hand (with pliers to hold the centre/create the S), but they are indeed the same as yours will be, if you gently bend them lower.
Here's an SBB tutorial;

The quartz is expensive along with the resin . The main reason i havent started a second attempt yet .E bay is probably best place to look .
Are there any crystal new age type shops near you . perhaps go in there and ask .They might sort some out for you if you explain what you need .There doesnt seem to be a cheap way of producing this stuff .:D
Here's some more pointers if you want cheap, you have to buy in (relative) bulk;
Manchester Minerals (http://www.manchesterminerals.co.uk/
There's the 'gem n rock' shows, http://www.rockngem.co.uk/
US Supplier (wholesale but not snobish wholesale!) - http://www.pelhamgrayson.com/ they have loads of stuff.
John's excellent WhaleOrgone
http://www.whale.to/orgone/crystals.htm
Gladys Bridges sells crystals (or used to at least, no website, just an email addy) - crystals87@hsnp.com you could drop her a mail and ask if she has what you need available, she has a mine and knows about Orgonite.

Good choice Phil, if I do say so myself :-) (well it is my site so I guess I would say that!).
If you do go ahead and order a pack, drop me an email rich@orgonitemoksha.co.uk to let me know it is you, I'll throw in some extra bits to go with your ingredients :-) I would offer you a load of crystals, but I gave away all my spare ones last week to a crew who intend on gifting alot around the South West (Plymouth etc), though my supplier in the USA owes me 1.5lb's of crystals since february! so I'll email and see what they have (won't be giving you many if it's my usual as I pay $60 per pound plus shipping making them about $70 per pound! They are AAA's though which is why I'd rather pay money to be sure I'm getting the best quality I can, below jewellery grade - that is just silly expensive at $120 per pound!).

It's not entirely clear whether it's the water-clear or the brown stuff. If it's the clear resin it's a good price, if the cheap, then a little bit pricey
East Coast Fibreglass is the best for clear resins in the UK
