NASA's page relating to the 40th Anniversary of the supposed Apollo 11 landing on the moon: http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/apollo/40th/index.html

I wonder what else is being planned to mark the occasion. July the 20th is the date of the claimed landing. I remember the 30th Anniversary celebrations in 1999. Channel 4 had a “Walking on the Moon” season and the last programme at about midnight was this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNrsx-7nxKI In fact this is the recording; see the intro! This programme had a big effect on me and helped me to "wake up"!

Cheers, Decim. Paddy Moore's a dude!:)

Although he did present a Apollo hoax debunker on one April Fool's Day show with Douglas Arnold. It claimed that the fill-in light was simply reflection from the oither astronauts' spacesuits. I guess the other astronauts just made sure they always stood in just the right place when taking the photoes.:D:rolleyes:

What, there's no backscattering of light off the lunar terrain?

When he was a Lad he went to the library and copied out by hand every astronomy book he could get his hands on including diagrams.

Patrick Moore, a legend.

If there was they never mentioned it:confused:. Reflected light from the lunar surface is the usual explanation, but in this case Moore and Arnold specifically stated that the reflected light came off the spacesuits.
