From conspiracy #10 (Which should be #1)

Flaws in the theory: The intense nature of the fires, caused by aviation fuel and the length of time they were able to burn, have been proven to have caused the collapse of the towers, including the tower that wasn't a specific target. This looks like a USA site with how bold they are in saying this!

Didn't get past the first one!

On 'debunking' 911 was an inside job - "Flaws in the theory: The intense nature of the fires, caused by aviation fuel and the length of time they were able to burn, have been proven to have caused the collapse of the towers, including the tower that wasn't a specific target."

Add - Snap! :D

It's actually a bit flattering that they went to all that trouble, because all it does is give the theories more weight. Unfortunately I'll have to point out their flaws in their reasoning.

If these conspiracy theories are all nonsensical, then why even bother addressing them? Fact is, they are true and MSN itself is run by the very elitists they claim don't exist. They're addressing it because people are turning away from their 'official' b.s. MSN and other similar 'news' organizations are one of the largest propaganda machines on the planet. It doesn't a genius to see that. All a person has to do is look at the mindless drivel they cover compared to international sites who cover real news. MSN and other 'news' sites like it are a joke. What ever happened to journalists taking a stance of neutrality and professionalism? These goons do little other than insight fear, pitch corporate ads, post pointless celebrity gossip, Mud sling, and filter real news from the public; they're a disgrace.

1. Ruling the World
< Previous | Beginning >

Masonic Initiation
The conspiracy: The shadowy members of a series of secretive organizations, stretching from the medieval Knights Templar, through the Freemasons and the 18th-century Illuminati, the Elders of Zion, the Council of Foreign Relations, to the system of world’s central banks today including the US Federal Reserve System and the Bank of England, in fact control the major political organizations and media outlets and determine history towards a system of world government.

Flaws in the theory: Well, this is the ultimate in conspiracy theories. You don't know that Encarta is not an agent of this New World Order. You’d expect us to rubbish such experts on the Illuminati such as David Icke (we're some of us lizards, you know). If there is such a society, one would have to note that they are pretty incompetent.

thought this thread would be good for my first post on this forum.

number 4 is very misrepresented for starters

The conspiracy: The advent of global warming—the idea that man-made pollution is changing the world climate and leading us to potential disaster—came following the end of the Cold War and, with it, the need for governments to find a replacement fear factor to control their populations and scientists to be able to justify funding.

Flaws in the theory: Climate change is demonstrably happening and most scientific bodies agree that man-made pollutants, specifically the release of carbon dioxide from the burning of fossil fuels, are at least part of the cause.

they've got the whole "conspiracy" wrong there anyway. iv never heard anyone say that. what the conspiracy should say is that the earths temperature was on average 1 degree hotter in 1300 B.C than now (based on ice samples from the arctic) and/or also that the other planets in our solar system appear to be getting warmer also, meaning that its probably just the sun getting hotter, maybe through the sun spot cycle.

As Credo Mutwa said 'Theories don't kill people'. A disturbing number of people who have come forward with evidence and stories about their involvement and observation of various happenings have been found with a bullet to the back of the head next to their suicide note.

This should not be taken to mean that I think all the conspiracy theories have legs.

If I wasn't a conspiracy theorist before reading this bullshit, I would be afterwards, or should I say a conspiracy factualist.

No 10 slags off David Icke btw, no surprise there then.

It's good that they encourage discussion with a link to their message board...http://uk.encarta.msn.com/encnet/departments/Education_1/default.aspx?page=MsgBrdTeaBreak&BoardID=1371.

Judging from the first page it looks most threads are pro the conspiracy theories.
