Right so i have got some steel shavings, its in long coils 6 inches long or so, should i cut the coils up into small bits? Iam going to get a pyramid mold of some kind, and as i understand it i need 5 quarz crystals one double terminated For the center and 4 single terminated ones for each corner of the pyramid.. What type of resin should i use? and should i put as much metal in as i can or are there some specific quanties?

Thanks in advance

One single chunky quartz would probably do. Dont need to cut up those spirals too much. Spirals are good. Polyester resin - the finest if you can afford it but the cheapest if you can't. Go along with your intuition with what's right
If it's right for you, it's right

I was recently sent the link to this site, where they have tutorials for making TBs, HGHs andd CBs with pictures:

Where did you get the metal shavings btw?

There are many tutorials on the net and on youtube, you should google them all.

Wizzer's workshop is interesting, too.

I would suggest not to use Pyramids but round shapes. Pyramids are based of squares and squares make a rather rough, not smooth ride for all kinds of energies.

Hello Sarrin :). I tend to have a bit of trouble with the longer coiled pieces, because when I am arranging them tightly into the mold, sometimes they expand and pop out a little above the level that the resin will be poured. Then when I try to push them back in, it causes another coil to pop out the top...to avoid this, i like to separate them into smaller more manageable pieces before pouring.

While pouring, i try to keep all the metals about an inch below the fill line, that way I don't have shards or sharp pieces sticking out of the finished orgonite. Yes try to pack the metal in there. I haven't used a pyramid mold yet, but martini glasses are really simple and turn out nice HHGs. Spray them with silicone lubricant or WD-40 and the finished orgonite will come out easily. I use one single terminated crystal for these, set vertically. You will find the 5 crystal plan on a lot of tutorials as it was the original design, but it does not necessarily make a stronger piece than a single crystal :).

I use polyester resin from a fiberglass store. Sometimes they have it at hardware stores, as well as at craft stores for a pretty penny :D. Good luck with everything! Any more questions, feel free to post!

Thanks biblegirl that has cleared things up a bit. That Orgonite experiment post you did really inspired me to make orgonite and research about it. :D

Thank you, I'm very happy to help :). Here is a link to my new Q&A thread on orgonite: http://davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=71354

Yeh i have already taken a look at that. I have got all my things now and plan on making my first hhg this weekend. The DT quartz crystals i got, certainly have a feel about them cant put my finger on it. They just feel good to hold

I would try adding conductive carbon if you could get a hold of it, the powder form would be good, mix this with the resin then pour over onto you mix.
