I think that it is important to keep in mind that the original and true meaning of the Eye of Horus has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with The Not So Illuminated Agenda of the NWO.

The original meaning is a very spiritual and positive one - a protection against evil even. The way the Eye Of Horus is used by the Not So Illuminati's is known as reversed symbolism. It is no coincidence that the most unenlightened figures on this planet would choose to hide their absolute lack of light behind a symbol of light.

David Icke has mentioned reversed symbolism in his The Secrets of the Matrix video.

There are numerous sites on the web that provide background information about the Eye Of Horus but here are just two of them:

http://www.themystica.com/mystica/ar..._of_horus.html

http://altreligion.about.com/library/glossary/symbols/bldefseyeofhorus.htm

UPDATE: Funny enough and suddenly the first link isn't active anymore! It was last night when I posted this message. Same thing happend last week when I posted The Not So Illuminati's. Truth is Truth. The Lie can run, but it can't hide. To get the info I was posting just type The Eye Of Horus in the search engine you use and you will find plenty of info, or visit a nearby library for more background information.

I think your right and I think its important for people to realize this because its possible that once people start questioning the symbols all over the place the answer that these so called illuminated ones are gonna give is that it protects against evil, when of course in fact as you have pointed out its reverse symbolism

Yes, perhaps we shouldn't be so quick to judge this and that as 'evil'.

'Evil' is just a part of the illusion!

I don't buy the "reverse symbolism" thing. It seems like anytime the NWO use anything positive, or distorted, it's "reverse symbolism."

As for the eye itself, it represented the sun, as well as completeness. Hence the eye completing the pyramid and emitting rays :P

I LOVE YOU.

The highly stylized eye of the falcon-headed solar and sky god Horus (the Latin version of Hor) is associated with regeneration, health, and prosperity. It has become commonly associated with esoterica and the occult. It is also called the udjat eye or utchat eye, which means "sound eye".

The udjat is depicted as a human eye and eyebrow as they would be seen looking at a person full-faced. The eye is decorated with the markings that adorn the eyes of hawks.

Usually, it is the right eye shown as the udjat, although the left is not uncommon. This is probably because of another myth that say that the sun and the moon were the right (sun) and left (moon) eyes of the sky god and the sun is seen as more powerful.

Each piece of the udjat can be seen as representing a fraction of the descending geometric series 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, etc., put together they make 63/64 or approximately 1.

The entire eye measured 1 heqat. And each of the parts of the eye measured fractions of the heqat.

These are the parts of the EYE and their corresponding associated fraction values :

http://www.amun.com/images/horus_1.jpg

The corresponding sense data are :-
1/64 heqat Touch
1/32 heqat Taste
1/16 heqat Hearing
1/8 heqat Thought
1/4 heqat Sight
1/2 heqat Smell

The EYE OF HORUS has a very specific meaning. The eye is represented as a figure with 6 parts. These 6 parts correspond to the six senses - Touch, Taste, Hearing, Thought, Sight, Smell. These are the 6 parts of the *eye*. The eye is the receptor of *input*. It has these six doors, to receive data.

The construction of the eye follows very precise laws. The senses are ordered according to their importance. And according to how much energy must be *eaten* by the *eye* for an individual to receive a particular sensation. All of the sensory data input is *food*.

Also, in the Egyptian system there is the unit of the ro. And by definition 320 ro = 1 heqat. The symbol for the ro is the mouth, it represented one mouthful. Again associating these measures with food, or input data.

Now if we consider the ro as the smallest unit of input energy needed for the input to *register* as sense data. We note, 320 = 5 x 64 and so in terms of ro we have 5 ro to register a Touch 10 ro to register a Taste 20 ro to register a Sound 40 ro to register a Thought 80 ro to register a Light 160 ro to register a Smell

To see how the drawings of the eye correspond to the various senses note:-

1. Touch 1/64 heqat or 5 ro

http://www.greatdreams.com/horus/a64.gif

This part of the EYE represents planting a stick into the ground. Like planting a stalk that will take root. The Earth represents touch. Planting itself represents physical contact and touching.

2. Taste 1/32 heqat or 10 ro

http://www.greatdreams.com/horus/a32.gif

This part of the EYE represents the sprouting of the wheat or grain from the planted stalk. It is the food we put into our mouth. And so represents taste. Taste is also = Touch + Shape. That is to say, the different tastes we experience come from touching different shapes. So, touch is more a fundamental sense that taste.

3. Hearing 1/16 heqat or 20 ro

http://www.greatdreams.com/horus/a16.gif

This part of the EYE represents the EAR. The figure points towards the ear on the face. Also, it has the shape of a horn or musical instrument. When we Hear a sound or combination of sounds we find this to be pleasing or unpleasant. The sound has a taste for us, causing a preference. Sound requires Touch + Taste and so is a combination of the lower senses.

4. Thought 1/8 heqat or 40 ro

http://www.greatdreams.com/horus/a8.gif

This part of the EYE represents thought. We often use our eyebrows to express our thoughts. And this facial feature is closest to that part of the forehead we associate with thinking. We raise our eyebrows to express surprise, for example. Thought = Touch + Taste + Hearing. If you think :) about it. Thinking is a kind of suppressed sound. The language we think in is like the *touch* of muscle prior to giving voice. And of course, we have a *taste* for different types of thoughts.

5. Sight 1/4 heqat or 80 ro

http://www.greatdreams.com/horus/a4.gif

This is the pupil of the EYE. And so no more needs to be said. It represents seeing, or the sensation of light.

6. Smell 1/2 heqat or 160 ro

http://www.greatdreams.com/horus/a2.gif

This part of the EYE points to the nose. It even looks like a nose. It represents the sensation of smell.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The reverence shown to parents is one of the virtues symbolized by the udjat, and the amulet could be used as a substitute for any of the offerings an eldest son was supposed to provide daily at his father's tomb. It was believed to ward of sickness and capable of bringing the dead to life (as it did with Osiris). The eye was also placed in the wrappings of the mummies over the incision where the embalmers removed the internal organs. Damaging the body in any way was considered bad luck for the deceased, and the Egyptians hoped to protect it by placing the amulet over the cut.
Horus, the son of Osiris and Isis, was called "Horus who rules with two eyes." His right eye was white and represented the sun; his left eye was black and represented the moon. According to myth Horus lost his left eye to his evil brother, Seth, whom he fought to avenge Seth's murder of Osiris. Seth tore out the eye but lost the fight. The eye was reassembled by magic by Thoth, the god of writing, the moon, and magic. Horus presented his eye to Osiris, who experienced rebirth in the underworld.
As an amulet the Eye of Horus has three versions: a left eye, a right eye, and two eyes. The eye is constructed in fractional parts, with 1/64 missing, a piece Thoth added by magic...
The Egyptians used the eye as a funerary amulet for protection against evil and rebirth in the underworld, and decorated mummies, coffins, and tombs with it. The Book of the Dead instructs that funerary eye amulets be made out of lapis lazuli or a stone called mak. Some were gold-plated.
It was called the "all-seeing Eye." Other attributes associated with it are terror and wrath. According to some myths, the eye took on a personality of its own, swooping down out of the sky to right wrongs...
The Right Eye of Horus represents concrete factual information controlled by the left brain. It deals with words, letters, and numbers and those things which are describable in terms of sentences or complete thoughts. It approaches the universe in terms of male oriented ideation.
The Left Eye of Horus represents abstract aesthetic information controlled by the right brain. It deals with esoteric thoughts and feelings and is responsible for intuition. It approaches the universe in terms of female oriented ideation. We use the Left Eye, female oriented, right side of our brain for feeling and intuition.
I totally agree with you on this!
the dark ones have hijacked so many of our positive symbols, it has been one of their most successful tactics!
its time to reclaim our symbols of light and use them as they were intended to be used...FOR LIFE![/B]
As we have learned, it was the minority group of dark magicians who decided to abuse their knowledge, the truth is emerging and we can now turn this around.
I have been unconsciously drawing eyes since I was able to draw, to me it is the connection between the omnipresent source and ourselves, our personal and collective contact with infinite knowledge.
We are awakening (opening our eye) and can now see what these foolish ones are up to!
Hi, I also was attracted to Egyptian symbols and visuals from an early age. I was also drawing eyes.
I realised not long ago I was able to see one when I had my eyes closed, but over time I lost contact with that. It is back again, and has been for some time, and it is the one which is on the right as you are facing it, but however, if you take it that the person is facing you, it is the left eye of the person. So I am wondering which is the one that you see or draw? Also when interpreting the text, do left and right apply to us as we are looking at the image or to the owner of the eyes??? Clear as mud, not, I hope??!!!
Do anyone else see an eye when they have their eyes closed???
Alright
I don't know if this is what the graphic means, but "looking" at it, seems to imply the right and left mystical eyes are used for different purposes.
Do you think SOF that one is out (of the body? or the matrix?) looking in and the other is the reverse? I think we have discussed before that each would be related to a different chakra, 6th or 7th, and you posted a detailed diagram of how the kundalini energy reacts with each chakra.
Anyway I like the picture!...
[QUOTE=randyt;182785]Hi,
Maybe some of you are already aware of this but Michael Tsarion has a very interesting presentation which is called:
The Hidden Persuaders - The Subversive Use Of Sacred Symbols in the Media
Just watched first part and, will see the rest asap. It is pretty important. My sister was criticised as being cruel to her children when she would not allow them to have a television until after they went to school and then limited the time they were exposed. She and her husband were both teachers and I guess intuitively they knew the impending damage. However would be good to educate kids on what they may be exposed to and how it works. Thanks.
Hi asentinel,
I'm glad the information is of value to you. What many people still don't realize is that television is not being used as tool for educating the public about what's really going on. It is used as a tool for propaganda, manipulation and mass hypnosis.
In my humble opinion your sister and her husband made a very wise decision not to expose their children to that garbage (..pardon my french :) )
They will be all the better for it.
Hi asentinel,
yes I predominantly draw the right eye, (left eye of the person)
But I think it is my own eye, and yours is your eye!
when we wake in consciousness it is our third eye that is activated, I think that for myself all those years drawing eyes everywhere helped to open my third eye.(I don't draw them so much now!)
Seeing your 'eye' is a trigger for you, as you begin to understand the nature of reality and your own potential to 'see' beyond the 5 sense prison.
Hope this helps:)
I've just seen your post on the Holographic image (serpentoffire), I think this is a goood point! and an example of reversed symbolism, perhaps the right is liberation and the left is used by our prison warders!
09-11-2007, 04:02 AM
thanks. I have experienced visions from the third eye, and also looking up through the crown. I think I was in touch with that vision of the eye when I was a child through to a teenager and then got hooked into the world as we all probably do! Then as other things shape our lives and we start to look inward, then I found it again.
There are various types of phenomena presented, sometimes like looking at a television set off channel, static then suddenly clear colour picture. Sometimes like the apperture of a camera lens, twisting open. Sometimes the picture is whole image and sometimes like a pinhole camera, round picture with blurred surrounds. Sometimes like a flower opening up, and with geometrical patterns on the side and the feeling of travelling through a tunnel twisting and moving upwards (mostly) but a couple of times downwards, to my regret for what I encountered. Sometimes the patterns are gridlike, or diamond, or striped and converging. Sometimes there is luminous colour, like an xray, or electric blue. I have seen beings at the end of the tunnels a couple of times. I have seen the cosmos, black sky with stars. I have seen tunnels like a shaft in the pyramid, bricks illuminated by the light at the end. Have seen the pale blue sky with clouds, perhaps early morning or evening:p, but like in time-lapse photography, because the clouds are passing overhead at a rapid rate.
Basically, I think, I want to be "out there", not "down here"!!! It is wonderful.
Cheers.
