Looks interesting.

Wasnt' there a guy who nearly planned and embarked on a serious independent mission to hollow earth?
I can't recall the exact details but I think the boat captain on this massive nuclear ice-breaker died and the whole thing was called off.

There have been a few attempts to reach the inner earth, but in one case the leader of the expedition died.

It has been resurrected but nothing so far has come of it. This is several years ago.

Lets keep this topic alive, I'm fascinated by it. And there is so little current news or info on it.
