I live alone, does anyone else here?
I can log on as often as I wan't.
I have noticed others spend as much time as myself on the Forum. Does this cause trouble with the peole you live with? What's more important if push came to shove, would you spend less time on here if those you lived with asked you to log off? Are you addicted to this place, is you're research more imortant ?

I've not long known about this site, but since finding it, I've been on here very often.
I know that if I'm needed elsewhere though, that I will go and do what I need to.

I'm a single bloke luckily, but I've got a kid so I can't spend every minute on here. But I am a bit like those people that were on the news the other day in a story about how internet socializing is replacing conventional, face-to-face socializing.
But when you have fringe interests like ours, this is the best way of meeting people on your wavelength. How many people do you know in your day-to-day lives that you can discuss Reptillians and the moonhoax with? Without forums Like this one I'd be leading a very lonely life!

I quit my job in February, my money ran out last month and I've made the odd half hearted attemp at getting another job, and now my money's so bad I have to find work soon or I'm bankrupt.
Had an interview yesterday, good job good money, still couldn't be arsed or get focused.
Just got some wicked green though and I think I'll spend the rest of this week on here and playing games :D LMAO

i go on as much as i like, even though i have cut down on my online time a lot in general, my girlfriend just thinks it's funny, she knows the score, but often peeps over my shoulder and laughs her ass off at some of the drama that goes on here.

Have you ever stopped to wonder why you get sold crap gear and other people like myself get the good stuff? Maybe the dealers don't like you. Don't worry, you'll suss it out one day.

It was Giordano Bruno, the famous philosopher who was burned at the stake on the first day of the 17th Century for saying something different to the Conformist Regime's Norm.
We're not related as far as I know.

Because he's been following me around the forum for days lashing out at me for no reason, I didn't respond until today. He needs to learn that if he's gonna come at me guns a blazing he's gonna get a hand grenade thrown in his face. He shouldn't dish it out if he can't take it.
Have a nice day now :)

I live alone too and I wouldn't put this forum above anyone close to me, if someone in my life asked me to drop this place I would do so no problem. Certainly not addicted like I have been to other forums in the past and as for research, I do most of that elsewhere.
But.. As others have already said, I too have a huge list of things to get done but they can always wait until tomorrow. Maybe I am addicted but don't yet realise it

I've been doing that for over a week and he's still carrying it on. I do understand what you are saying and agree with you but you know, I'm only human. The ball is in his court.

Would it be fair to say that private contractor agents make $500 per hour just for browsing forums like this? That's good money (depending on from which perspective you look at it).

Yes, same here if I get visitors I'll log off. Or an offer to go out somewhere or visiting. I couldn't really concentrate on reading and posting and having company at the same time.
Can always catch up with what's going down here later.
What does piss me off though if I go round a friends and there like shush something I wan't to watch on TV, he has Sky they repeat every programme about 10 times a week.
You know why you get it delivered within half an hour, it's because you're female. I used to live with a girl and I had a better credit rating back then with the quicksilver hashman home delivery service. :(

Yes... and whats worse is when they no nothing about whats really going on, but think they have a good grasp of current affairs and talk shit. Then give you the cold shoulder because they think you're the mad one!
Life is getting funnier and more bizarre by the hour!

Although I don't always post - I read this forum everyday! Whenever I get a chance! I have learned so much from it. It's like seeing familiar friends every day. I used to watch Tv - now I dont watch any tv as I would rather be on here! I barely have time to make a cup of tea or go to the toilet! ha ha!

I've just clicked on to this thread, and my husband has just walked in saying 'your on it again' but he should be grateful to this site because,
1. It keeps me out of the shops and;
2. He's got full control over the remote,
But in all seriousness, he is concerned about all this shit that's going in on the world. And he does support me.

I live with my sister. She's gone at her job most of the day, and I work at home as a writer/illustrator. Since I've begun www.William-Mac.com I've been on the computer all day everyday, and only get about 3 hours of sleep.
I'm a little upset that I'm missing the summer. I love traveling, doing drugs, drinking, getting into trouble, taking in the weirdness in various locations and out-of-the-way cities. But, I have a job to do, and I can't do those things as much anymore. So, I don't feel guilty or bad about doing so much research, and I look at David Icke forums as a weird support group, also a good source of news. So, I alternate in between work and checking up here (among many other places).
I'm trying to permeate the people's minds subtly, however David Icke and people on this forum are more forthright. I can't be this forthright or I would not be taken seriously, so like I said, I have to hint at these things and do it differently. It's exhausting. Here I can just talk openly about the shit, and it's a nice breather.
To make the videos and interview music people for the two magazines I write for I still have to go out like I used to, so I guess that's my party time. I miss the old days though. I miss the days when I didn't give a shit...well, I always gave a shit, but I didn't research it for fear I would give more of a shit hah hah. But, alas, gotta do the job, gotta aid in the bigger struggle, I think.

Discuss. :D
I am done with research after several decades of it. Going online is either work related or, like in the case of browsing forums, for entertainment purposes during breaks nowadays. Haven't had any problems with addiction to or dependency on machines, and my social life takes place in real life. So no; would never prioritise sitting in front of a machine over being with other people in real life.

Hi There
Well I do not really have anyone else to consider. I go through phases of being online quite a lot, then times away. I do enjoy the internet very much and enjoy chatting in other chat rooms live. The internet is quite addictive and I in a way its a wonderful lifeline for myself right now.
The only side effects, sore butt sat down to long on the chair lol

Actually I believe the opposite to be true.
It's quite easy to get addicted to the internet
(Been there myself)
And when you are addicted, your family and friends come second.
And second to what?
Text on a screen typed by someone you don't know and probably never will.
No, the internet is a form of entertainment
And should come second to living life.
(Unless of course surfing the internet is ones idea of living life).
And of course you have to remember who invented the internet...

I chucked my tv out and the stereo has been relegated to the bedroom so the computer is my entertainment centre, which might cause a problem if I were in relationship. I may have to get a tv to mind the other half lol. But its not a problem I feel I have to pay notice to at the moment because I am trying to get involved with more groups offline and so dont really have the inclination for a relationship. Most guys of my age anyway arent into the same kind of stuff I am, they are usually way too far into the work-wages-work cycle to realise there is an alternative. Or they dont smoke or they want helpless women. lol so no no I dont ever foresee it as being a problem.

Don't worry, I'm the only person on my wavelength too. I can sit around a table full of people and I'm the only one with my kind of opinion, all the rest follow the crowd to fit in and mirror each others views. I sort of get a kick out of being different, I'm a bit of a rebel like that. I suppose it all depends on how much value you put on fair weather friends, I value them on average 50p to £1.
:D
