A few years ago I drank 12 pints of Guinness in 4 hours and then drove back home from my local snooker club. I was so pissed, the steering wheel slipped from my hand and my passenger mate grabbed it, which prevented us from crashing into a wall at 40mph.
I haven't driven under the influence of alcohol for years now, probably because I don't own a car anymore.
Has anyone else driven whilst being twatted?

This is not funny. Also, it's "drunk driving" not "drink driving". You could have killed or maimed someone.

I was looking to move this to a different sub-section, 'have a laugh' certainly isn't appropriate, shame we haven't got a 'complete fuckwit' section to put this into.
Having lost my cousin and a best friend to drink drivers I find this thread hideously distasteful, but then, that's your stock-in-trade these days isn't it Stepp?
Me thinks that this is another of SteppeWar's little experiments. ;)
Prick em and behold, gloriously reveal progamming that they hold :p

Yup. I was programmed by the (what I consider to be) murder of two of my closest friends - that 'cool' enough for you? Does that make the revealing of my anger and hurt due to an 'experiment' worthwhile?

When I was 7, my best friend, an Australian girl called Angela, and her sisters, Jennifer (aged 5), and Megan (aged 3), were all wiped out by a drunk driver colliding with their parents' car.
That was 39 years ago, and I still get tears in my eyes now thinking about it. I remember their mum bringing a basket of fruit & veg into school for our Harvest Festival, a month or so later, wearing huge sun-glasses and a neck-brace, and looking like she was 100 years old.
Please use your brain Steppe.

I doubt that those who attend fatal road accidents in an official capacity find them in any way humorous.

There is nothing the least bit funny about a bloody idiot getting drunk and murdering people with their cars.
That's like some drunk who comes up to you and says,"Hey,do you like fat guys with no money?" Tasteless. :(

The predictable responses to this thread illustrate just how brainwashed everyone is. I believe in freedom and personal responsibility, therefore think people should be able to drink what they want before they drive (If they then injure someone they should, of course, be prosecuted). Most of you don't seem to be able to see how you have been manipulated into holding the opinions that you do, or that by holding these opinions you are in fact responsible for the police state we all now live in.

Thing is though, drinking makes you feel overly confident that you can do something while at the same time inhibits total control of your body.
The realization of this, and knowing not to drink and drive is responsibility to me.

Great post :) I remember a geezer looting a tv so I shot him in the throat from about 8ft. It was in a war zone but I was aiming at a bird :D I think looters should be able to take what they want but have to face the personal responsibility of there actions. Must get that scope checked  :D

Jesus Christ he's serious.
Yeah carry on maiming people. Just the kind of contempt for other people I'd expect from a member of the elite.

I've never driven drunk, because I don't have a license (and I'm 31). Right now, I can't help but think it's an idiotic thing to do. Just last weekend in my small town, 3 teens got hit and killed by a drunk driver (they were pedestrians). He sped off and crashed into someone's living room. He was warned over and over not to drive.
One time my dad drove home drunk with us in the car (I was maybe 8 at the time). He lost control and almost ran into a house.
I've been in the car where the driver was drunk or high. I really regret it.
We can't be totally free when we live in a reality where death exists. I feel so sorry for the parents of those teens. :(
Does that make the revealing of my anger and hurt due to an 'experiment' worthwhile?
Not for me to say.
You'd need to ask Steppewar why he posted it.
Myself, I wasn't mocking your loss.
What I was pointing to was that it was probably an intentionally laid landmine.

Ive never driven while drunk. People who think they can still drive safely while drunk are egotistical morons.
ed- And yes, I do own a vehicle, and I do get drunk. I simply have enough wits and/or common sense regardless of my level of intoxication to know that driving while drunk is ludicrous

Last New Years Eve I did. Had to drive past police headquarters to get home too. Hilariously enough, while I was maintaining proper speed and handling of my vehicle, some dingleberry in front of us slammed right into a parked police cruiser right IN FRONT of the HQ. Then the doofus gets out and runs as an unmarked cruiser pulls out the garage in full pursuit!
We laughed about that for five minutes, then pulled around the abandoned vehicle and went on our way.

I agree. I know a guy that lost his driving license because of drunk driving, and I think that was just about right. Drunk drivers are a danger to others and themselves.
