Polish woman 'racially attacked'

A Polish woman living in Dorset suffered injuries after a racial attack in a bar.

The 28-year-old was out in Poole town centre on Saturday night when she was assaulted by four women in Yates bar, on the High Street,

Police said she was kicked in the head and body and sustained extensive bruising in the attack after she was asked where she was from.

Witnesses who were in the busy bar should contact police.

A dancing street sweeper has left Britain fearing for his life, saying he was beaten up by racist thugs. Ziggy Dust, from Poland, told friends he was leaving because National Front members had attacked and threatened to kill him. Attention all Polish girls, I have a very serious question for you. Are you too pretty to exist in Irish schools? You may want to look hard in the mirror and be honest with yourself, as it seems that being female, pretty and Polish are not a good mix; well, that is, if you go to certain districts of London and Nottingham at least.

Awful and shocking that people should be attacked on grounds of their nationality/race.

Likely that we'll see more incidents like this as the recession bites deeper and resentment grows.
