Have been planning on making some orgonite for a while now just one hitch having real trouble getting hold of the metal to make it.. any suggestions

i can get steel swarf from rail . no aluminium thou

Look in your local phone book for tool makers or engineering companies. Also look for companies that recondition engine components.

does steel work as well as aluminium? i just want to do a proper job thats all

Just ask around the scrap metal merchants. You should soon track one down which has at least one skipful of aluminium shavings. Steel's fine as well.

for the orgonite that I just made, what I did was looked "machine shops" up in the phone book, then either called or stopped by asking if i could have the mill scraps/turnings/shavings...they gave them to me for free because they were just going to throw them away anyway :)
