I thought GMT meant Greenwhich Mean Time? Which is the time in England UK.
It's almost midday here in England, yet the clock on this site says it's almost 6am......wtf?

Hi there. I noticed that the other day, then went into Edit Profile & saw that you could set the time to your country. Still, I've done that now for UK time and when I log in it adds on an hour?

lol an hour out better than six hours out of time. I typed the longest post I've ever done here, went to post it and it said I was logged out, this has happened before. But i lost the post:(

I can fully sympathise with you here. The same thing has happened to me a few times. It seems that if you've not been active for 5 mins or so it locks you out. I always make sure I copy my post before I submit now, just to make sure I don't lose it :)

John / Sean - can you please help out here, is there any way to change the lock out time?

GMT is indeed Greenwhich Mean Time. The zero meridian goes through Greenwhich hence the name. Interestingly, the zero meridian used to go through Paris and before that through the grand pyramid of Khufu in Egypt.

As the power base moved, so did the time line. It indicates where the power is located on planet earth. The US is considered the planets largest "superpower" when in fact it's the UK, or rather the Crown/City of London corporation. This in turn is all owned by the Vatican making the Catholic church the biggest power and land owner today.

As for the forum lockout time. I think that can be changed. I'll check with Sean.

Did you know you can follow the zero meridian line on a world atlas map, worth a look.
Nice one who ever set the clock... it's now in sync with GMT :D
