Transformers The Movie

My ex took my 5 year old son to see this film at the weekend (even though it's certified 12). I've only just watched the trailer & must admit I didn't realise it was not animated, but looks very realistic!!:eek: I'm quite concerned as my son complained that he had a nightmare last night, which is quite unusual for him, & wondered if it was related to the film???

Also speaking to my mate tonight, she recently saw it with her boyfriend & said they were both shocked at how dark & negative it all was. They also both left the cinema with headaches too, which is a bit weird :confused:

Anyway, as I haven't seen it yet, I thought I'd check here to see if anyone else has & what your thoughts are...

I saw it yesterday...

It was so shit.

Firstly I complained about a headache afterwards but I attributed that to not watching TV in about 6 months and then watching a full film...

It was so stupid...They gave it the most childish dumbed down storyline but had shit loads of death and killing in it. It's like they stupidfied it for the adults and horrorfied it for the children...

The CGI was amazing but that was about it...So boring and stupid and I am so dissapointed.

They could have made an interesting story line for the adults who remember the cartoon and then kept the violence low so it wouldn't disturb the children. The violence was crap, it was like it was trying to give the storyline creditability by having the odd mass killing every now and again...Obviously it wasn't bad for adults but there were 5 year olds watching...

Not only that but they absolutely worshipped material goods like nice cars and how to attract the opposite sex with shitty lines and material objects. So much social engineering...Michael Bay, enough said.

ya i got the headaches too...

notice how the bad robots spoke some asian language............ (the subtitles)

and the good robot spoke english.
